My dad wasn’t just my parent—he was my steady place, my protector, and the kind of man who made you feel safe just by being near him.

Losing him so suddenly in an accident doesn’t feel real. It’s the kind of pain that stops time and leaves a silence nothing can quite fill. There were no goodbyes, no chance to prepare—just a life that meant everything, gone too soon.

But what I hold onto is who he was and where he is now

He was strong, not just in the way he carried himself, but in how he showed up for the people he loved. He had a way of making things better—even when he didn’t say much, you just knew he cared. He taught me more by how he lived than words ever could—about loyalty, about love, about showing up no matter what.

He made ordinary moments feel important. The laughs, the talks, the little things I wish I could relive just one more time.

My heart is shattered and I will miss him every day—in the quiet, in the milestones, in the moments I wish I could call him. But I also know he’s still with me in everything he taught me, in the strength he gave me, and in the love that doesn’t end just because he’s not here.

Dad, I hope you know how deeply you are loved . How much you will be and are missed. How much you mattered. How much you still matter.

I will carry you with me—always and forever.
