I’m spent. Ive been doing 6 day work weeks since late fall and since there is key fob access, it doesn’t make sense for me to be here on Saturdays during slow season. This will be the last Saturday until mid fall.

I'm aiming to wrap up the other lamps within the next couple of weeks. Given the current schedule filled with prom spray tanning, and a busy UV tanning calendar, relamping hasn't been feasible until now. I'd also like to mention that I'll be implementing some changes. The hybrid lamps, in particular, will be swapped out for traditional 15 or 20-minute lamps. After conducting research that yielded no studies on the red light output of hybrids and taking into account the findings of a test by a salon owner and expert in red light, it's clear the hybrids don't produce enough red light for therapeutic purposes. Red light bed-I’ll be keeping that until the end of the year and then turning that back in to a tanning bed. When it’s busy season and that bed is sitting unused, it’s costing me in the long run. I would get rid of it now but there’s a couple people who paid for a year in advance. Anyway, just wanted to keep people up to date on the relamping situation.

A new computer is being ordered for the sign in kiosk. It still works but has been experiencing surges and spikes that are starting to affect the mother board. If it’s off, please follow instructions on the counter. A lot of people keep powering off my computer which is causing disruptions in my eft billing. My plan for this morning was to get bed relamping done bright and early. Now it seems instead I’ll be on the phone with touch n tan figuring out if I need new computers or not. Always something. Always.
