Winter weather and significantly cold climates can do a number to our skin barrier. The indoor heaters are causing that upper most skin layer to dry out and crack. It is ever more important to keep resealing your precious skin barrier with nutritional oils and butter. Typical lotions may feel nice for a moment but once the water in them dries and the synthetic chemicals start to break down, you are left with gaps between those cells.
