The Black Comb is excited to feature the artwork of an up-and-coming, talented artist. Fiona will exhibit her stylistic paintings for sale in the shop. Stop in for a haircut and/or nails and leave with a one of a kind masterpiece!

ConGRADulations are in order for a 2020 graduate. With this being said, Meghan will be off on Saturday, September 5th, 2020 to celebrate with her friends and family. She will be here Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am to 6pm. Plan accordingly. Love, peace and hair grease.

Happy Saturday! The Black Comb will be closed today due to some much needed rest and fresh, mask-less air. We have learned that a “brain break” is one of the most important things to do for yourself during these times. Do something you’ve never done before and let us know in the comments or save it for your next haircut or nail appointment.

THE BLACK COMB will be OPEN on Friday May 15th at 8am. Meghan will accept walk up, check in, first come, first serve basis haircuts. We have a system set in place to keep things organized and fair. We will do our best to keep the timeframe as minimal as possible. Proper, safe sanitation and disinfection needs to happen. Please be patient. Here are a few rules that we ask everyone to comply to:

• All clients in the building are required to wear a mask due to how close we will be during the service. Practicing social distancing, six feet apart, is important but it is impossible while we work. We WILL have a mask on too.
• We will have NO one waiting inside the establishment for an appointment. Everyone will be asked to wait in their car, outside, if you are feeling lucky....test your luck next door with the lottery, or grab some goods from Rudy’s. (Bring a cooler for your car.) The weather is changing, we will have seats outside for anyone that wants to enjoy the scenery. People watching is a fan favorite in our parking lot.
• We invite children to get their haircut, ONE child will be permitted at a time with ONE parent chaperone. Please have a plan of action before you come to your appointment. Caretakers are welcome and will be asked to sit in the designated waiting area until the appointment is complete. No additional guests will be allowed at this time.
• We ask that you COME ALONE. We won’t allow children to be left unattended while the parent is occupied during their appointment. Everyone, our receptionist, service provider and client has to have undivided attention at all times. Common sense, please.
• You will be asked to wait until all disinfection and sanitation has been completed by the service provider. When entering for a nail service, you will wash your hands at our hand washing station.
• Leave as many of your belongings in your vehicle. We need to stay focused on what we are here for and less distraction is better. Cell phones will be permitted during an appointment only in dire circumstances.
• We will open the door for you on the way in and out. Let us take care of you, isn’t that what you are here for? Time to relax and enjoy!
• Arrive on time for your appointment. You will be charged a 50% late/cancellation fee for that time slot and asked to reschedule online.
• FOR WALK-ins: When it is your time to shine, you will be called into the building. Pay close attention, we will give you a TWO minute grace period to get into the barber chair. Your number will be skipped if you are shuffling your feet.
• Respect the needs of others and yourself. If you are not feeling well or have a fever let us know, we will not be able to service you!
