SUMMER SOLSTICE, “LITHA” | 06.21.2022

🌞Summer Solstice, which occurs between June 19th-22nd, represents a celebration of blessings and honoring the divine. 🫶🏼It’s the longest day of the year & the Sun is in zenith (it’s highest point).

The Sun is at its peak power, allowing it to grace the season forward with energy of abundance; this is a time for fulfillment, fertility, & expansiveness. 🪄

The half of the year cycle is complete and we may acknowledge the “light vs. dark” as a reminder of blessings to be celebrated and grateful for. Now, the sun is at its peak— it is now on a path of waning and shorter days of darkness are to follow. 🪬

One may is inclined to surround themselves with the Sun and practice “surya namaskar” — sun salutations.

🌝 As our moon, Luna, is in Pisces it is a time for healing + emotions. It’s important to trust your intuition and be kind to others’ (when isn’t it though?) Today will be suited for creativity and the discovery of new talents for oneself.

But no, really, what we mean is how do we keep going everyday pursuing this passion? Starting a very niche, misunderstood small business is strenuous. Your once short days ending at a sharp clock-out time are over— you’re constantly consumed by looming tasks, ideas, and obligations. The once fleeting idea that wasn’t even on paper yet is now swallowing the majority of your thoughts, actions, & how you navigate through your daily life.

Now, I know you’re not still reading because you love a sad story, so here’s where I tell you— it’s so heckin’ worth it.

I am fueled by passion— I am undoubtedly, “bat s**t passionate.”

My passion is inspired by my community, my unconditionally supportive tribe, and my desire to positively impact the world in a way that will have residual effects for years to come— even past my time.

I crave meaningful relationships that have a mutual desire to forgo social currency and rather add depth to their conversations that promote healing, growth, and mindful intentions.
