A flawless pre-draw will yield a flawless outcome every single time. It’s worth it to take your absolute time when measuring and drawing a clients brow. It is essential to allow the client to sit up and assess your drawing until it is exactly the way they want it. Yes, I always have to work within the confines of the clients bone structure and facial measurements, however arches, thickness and general appearance can be tweaked according to the clients desires. Brows are a collaborative, artistic process between the client and the artist.

A powder brow and lip blush for this beauty. Lip blushing will calm down after this first session and have much less of an opaque appearance. It is meant to appear as a natural “blush” after the healing process has occurred.

If you received any semi-permanent makeup services and it has been over 2 years since I have seen you, your pigment may start to change color due to the makeup of the ink used. This is why it is important that you come back every 2-3 years for a color boost. During this session I can take you back to your original color or modify and enhance your existing color. Unfortunately semi-permanent makeup is not a one and done thing. It must be updated every few years to remain beautiful and vibrant. If your color looks off and it has been over two years since I have seen you, you need to book a color boost asap. Existing clients can always text or call me for confirmation or clarification on what procedure is best for them. 🩷

This beautiful woman came to me with a problem. Someone gave her microblading when she was way past the appropriate age to use a handheld tool on her skin. Additionally they went too deep and this created a brow that was much too dark for her taste and that ultimately healed into a blueish purple. She was so traumatized that she avoided having having anyone touch her brows for 5 years. Finally, she decided to give me a shot at turning her blueish eyebrows into a warm blondish brown powder brow.
Now usually in these cases, I recommend a laser removal before I touch the client but often they do not want to endure the pain and expense of a removal procedure. In these cases, I have to use my judgment and experience to determine if I can actually benefit them or if I have to turn them away. In this case, I had hope that I could give her a beautiful powder brow that would match her existing hair color and complement her skin tone. We were both thrilled with the result after the first session.
You may be surprised by how I achieved this result, but not if you understand the color wheel and how skin absorbs the chemical properties of tattoo ink. This is a nuanced skill that only comes with education and years of practice.
