Natasha Latina is a Russian immigrant who came to the United States with nothing, but a dream to become a successful hairdresser and business owner. She received her hair training and certification from The Beauty Academy of Moscow. After completing her training in Moscow, she decided to leave Russia and find better opportunities in the US. She arrived in 1992 and began working in different local Delaware salons building a network and establishing a name for herself. Eventually, she partnered with her longtime friend Ann Tasker and together they created Salon Pasca.
Natasha was able to successfully start her business even as a single mother of four children. Amidst a hectic lifestyle she has found time to hone her skills as a hairdresser and stylist. Her skills are evident from her several medals in various distinctions at the Hair World Championships. Throughout her years as an owner, she has taken her passion and skills for hairdressing and inspired new generations of stylists, owners, and techs. Currently her salon operates with over 22 employees, several of which are young stylists hoping to obtain their beauty licenses through the salon’s apprenticeship program.
Recently, the mission of her salon has evolved, particularly in hair replacement. Natasha, who is also a certified hair restoration technician, saw that there were limited options in the state for people who experienced major hair loss. She proceeded then to expand her business by purchasing a hair restoration company in 2020. The company merged with her existing salon and quickly became a successful addition.
The issue of hair loss and restoration is incredibly important to Natasha given that she also experienced a hair loss journey during her battle against breast cancer. She believes that no one should have to fight this alone or be limited in what they can achieve because of their appearance. Everyone deserves a chance to feel confident and beautiful regardless of their situation.
