🏀 Duffy’s Hope Youth Summer Basketball League: Middle School Edition 🏀
Our June/July schedule is set and our athletes are ready to compete! 💪
Monday nights will be filled with development, teamwork, and high-energy matchups as our middle school players continue to grow both on and off the court.
We’re proud to provide a positive, structured space for youth to learn the game, build confidence, and showcase their skills all summer long. 💙
Derrick Milano is more than a celebrity guest at this year’s game — he’s a Duffy’s Hope success story coming full circle.
Long before he became a trailblazer in the music industry, Derrick was a kid in Wilmington’s Summer Basketball League, shaped by the same Duffy’s Hope mission he now champions.
As the Duffy’s Hope Legacy of Hope 2026 Honoree, he’s being celebrated not just for his impact on music, but for the way he aims to pour back into the Delaware community that poured into him — carrying forward the same spirit of mentorship, opportunity, and love that Duffy gave to him and so many others.
This year, he steps back onto the court for the 21st Annual Celebrity Basketball Game, not as a guest, but as family.

About last night!!!!
Our Volunteer Meeting last night was soooo good! We talked about what this work means to us, we go to strategize, prep and plan for the Celebrity Basketball Game, but we also got to laugh, crack jokes, eat good food (thank you Chef Batson), and bond together as a team.
We work hard. We play hard.
