That graduation day blowout 🎓

I do this clients color and cuts and today I had the honor of blowing out her hair and giving her some curls for her college graduation.

She has the most beautiful, long and thick head of hair.

I tried a new blowout combo from that I was recommended in our last class and it turned out so well.

I prepped the hair with Universal Defense then sectioned the hair and applied Rock Hard Gel followed by Royal Blowout.

Once dried I used Impermeable Anti Humidity Spray in each section before curling and followed with Superfine Strong hairspray.

After the comb out we ran a little Gold Lust Oil through the ends and got this shiny, bouncy blowout.

Splat color correction session one today.

This lovely client had used purple splat on her hair before and wanted to get back to having some golden dimension.

Splat has an extremely high dye load so it really stains the cuticle of the hair. It's notoriously hard to remove.

Luckily we carry at and I was able to tackle this with the combination of UnDoo Goo, Color Disruptor and CPR.

I used a little area 51 to help counteract the pink areas that were exposed after the Malibu treatment.

Finally we toned with .global colorance in 7BG and 8GB.

In a few weeks we will highlight and get her to her final goal all while keeping her hair healthy.

I truly love all my clients equally but the level 3's and 4's really help me keep my glutes in shape.

Did you know that in addition to being a hair wizard I'm also co-owner in a meal prep and catering service.

We also sling some amazing Philly style cheesesteaks on Saturdays from 5pm to 10pm out of the window at right next to .

Mind you I just hold the spatula and occasionally stir things .n.fat makes all the delicious food and recipes.

We did a partial highlight using silk lift and toned with colorance gloss tones.

We did a soft blend at the root so as these highlights grow out they will have a soft transition to her natural color and not a stark line.

It's the perfect time to brighten up for spring. I have one Saturday appointment left in April and the weeks are filling up fast.
