“Detox” has become one of the most overused words in the scalp care industry.
The truth is, not every scalp is congested.
🌱Some are dry.
🌱Some have a compromised barrier.
🌱Some are sensitive.
🌱Some need hydration.
🌱Some need circulation support.
When every treatment starts with the assumption that the scalp needs to be detoxed, we risk overlooking what the client actually needs.
The most effective scalp treatments aren’t built around trendy buzzwords.
They’re built around observation, assessment, and intention.

Collecting plants.
I have well over 150 plants between my home and Casa PRANA... and somehow there’s always room for one more.

The beach.
It’s where I go when I need to clear my mind and breathe.
When I teach scalp therapy, I’m teaching so much more than techniques.
I’m teaching what it means to build a business you’re proud to attach your name to.

To steam or not to steam?🧐
Steam has become a default step in head spa services, but the real question is why we’re using it.
Steam itself isn’t good or bad. It’s simply moist heat. What matters is the intention, the timing, and the scalp you’re working with.
Protocols shouldn’t be rigid. The scalp in front of you should always guide the treatment.
These are the kinds of discussions we have inside the PRANA Ritual Method community, result-driven, intuition-led practitioners learning to think beyond trends.
