Graceful Glass Fusion

Slightly bummed as it has taken us much longer to set up shop here in our new location in Wilmington North Carolina. While waiting for the major electrical changes needed to operate our kilns, I am continually sketching out new ideas. When we do open, expect to see many ocean colors incorporated into our works as we celebrate the beauty of the area in which we live. Meanwhile, for all my glass friends out there, you continue to inspire me with your beautiful work.

I can see I am getting closer to learning the art of mosaics.

For the wild at heart...6x11 Handpainted glass enamels on glass, fused at 1500 degrees and then slumped into a shallow dish. The glare is the sunlight while taking the pic. $65 plus postage.

I am hoping to turn glass paintings into trays later.
