She was ready to grow her grey out, with having such a dark root naturally, it was getting hard to maintain her color, and she didn’t mind the look of the gray hair is coming in so she was ready.

We highlighted her last about six months ago, and have since been cutting and glossing every 8 weeks.

We decided to stop highlighting because it got to a point that it blended enough for her liking, and we were able to still keep her hair very healthy with where it was at. Because we were coloring her hair so dark for years, it would’ve been very hard to achieve a whiter highlight color without jeopardizing her healthy hair. We initially let her back portion of her hair grow in naturally and stopped coloring the first, and then did a big initial chop when she first highlighted it as well, which took care of a lot of the old dark color.

Nothing like a 7 hour transformation, and then it’s dark for the after pic🙃💜

My client has so much beautiful hair to work with, and she wanted to be mostly purple after leaving today, after 2 years of not getting her hair done we had some work to do. 🪄

First I went in and clarified, then we did a heavy teasylight / tip out, and then washed that, blew dry, and on went the …. I am not gonna lie as you know I don’t do vivids a lot, but this was fun 🤩
