The entire reason why I flew all the way to Calgary Alberta is because of THIS training right here. I just happened to come across Samantha’s Instagram page ( - go follow her now) and the information she was putting out, I KNEW I had to learn from her right away and become knowledgeable in ocular hygiene as it pertains to lash extensions and eye health. Lash Artists, it’s just not enough to know how to apply lash extensions, it is SO MUCH MORE! We owe it to our beloved clients to learn the clinical side of eye health.
Throughout the years I have had clients fall off my books because of their dry eye disease, because I didn’t know what to look for and what to do to help treat their symptoms. After taking this 2 day intense certification, all the dots started to connect …. sO many aHA moments. When I reflect back, it makes me sad that I didn’t recognize the signs … I now know what I could’ve been doing so their dry eye disease + meibomian gland dysfunction wouldn’t progress. I can’t sit in the past, but moving forward, I now have a protocol to help rehabilitate the remaining meibomian glands to function at their optimal levels.

I’m proud to say that I am the FIRST Lash Artist in my state (maybe even in the United States) that is CERTIFIED from an Occular Hygienist, that will offer this new service for Dry Eye Disease patients. The girls in my class this weekend, we are the FIRST in the WORLD to take this certification from 😎 What’s even more exciting is coming home and restructuring my lash studio into the FIRST Eye Spa in my town🥰 I’m so excited for all my present and future clients!
