Governor Carney has just announced interim steps to allow small businesses to expand their services with social distancing and sanitary measures in place. Hair Care Services are permitted to be offered to workers at ESSENTIAL BUSINESSES beginning Friday.

Please read the following ... there’s a lot of information.

🔸Scheduling appointments:

For the next week or two, I will contact clients to schedule. I will begin scheduling clients in the following order: essential business clients, clients canceled in March when I had to temporarily close due to the Coronavirus then I’ll send another message when I can begin regular scheduling of appointments.

Business Hours: I’ve expanded my work days to include Mondays and Tuesdays until the end of June.

My hours are as follows:

Monday 10am-4pm
Tuesday 12pm-8pm
Wednesday 10am-4pm
Thursday 12pm-8pm
Friday 10am-4pm
Saturday 9am-3pm

I have taken the following measures to ensure the safety of my clients with sanitary and social distancing measures in place.

🔸Face coverings REQUIRED:

*I’m required to wear a face covering, gloves, and smock for all appointments.

*Clients are required to wear a mask at all times. I can provide face shields upon request. At this time, I don’t have extra face masks but am waiting for orders placed.

🔸Entering Sola/my suite:

*I’m only permitted to have one client in my suite at a time. If two appointments are together we request one client wait in the car until client *completed.

*Please plan to wait outside Sola Salons or in your car before your appointment. When my suite is empty I’ll text you and put a green sign in my window that my studio is vacant.

*I’m required to take 15 minutes in between appointments for proper sanitation.

🔸Clients must cancel appointments if they have any reason to believe they may be ill or may have come into contact with the virus.

🔸Forms of Payments: credit cards and cash and added Venmo.

Hope you and your families are doing well. I am looking forward to seeing you in my salon again soon! I’ve been working on a reopening plan with my clients comfort and safety being of utmost importance.

I will adhere to the State safety guidelines including completing the following prior to reopening:

* Completed Barbicide Certification of proper sanitation and disinfection practices
* Cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces and implements
* Laundering and disinfecting all capes, towels and linens
* Removed any non-essential items in my suite
* Implementing contactless methods of payment
* Acquired appropriate personal protective equipment

As soon as we get guidance from the State to move forward, I will begin booking client appointments. I’ll send another message when I start booking appointments and I plan to modify my hours to accommodate your hair care needs.
