✨ Tip Of the Day: Lightening A Closure Knots For a Natural look.

You’ll need: A Color Bowl, Wooden Stick, Measuring Beaker, Lightener, 20 vol developer, Brass Off, Foil or Plastic Wrap. Shampoo and Conditioner.

✨ Step 1: Mix 1:1 (equal parts) of lightener with 20 vol developer. (I use BlondeMe by Schwarzkopf) Make sure it’s Thick you may need to add more lightener).

Step 2: Lay your Closure on a Flat surface upside down making sure all of the hair is away from the lace where you’ll be applying your lightener.

Step 3: Use a wooden stick or plastic butter knife to spread the lightener on the lace. (Like buttering toast. This helps make sure you’re not brushing the lightener on too hard as that may cause the closure hair to lighten as well).

Step 4: Allow the lightener to Process for about 40-45 minutes checking it about every 10 minutes.

Step 5: Rinse the lightener out with cold water. (This allows the chemicals to stop working.)

Step 6: Apply Matrix Brass Off Shampoo.

Step 7: You May need to Tone. If not apply your Conditioner and Rinse.
