All regulations on Fairy Hair in North Carolina have been lifted, so we are celebrating getting our wings back this Thursday at Waterline from 4 to 7 PM. Please come have a beer and help us celebrate this fabulous news 🧚🥂

Surprise, we are BACK!! 🧚🏼‍♀️

As many of you may already know, we previously had to cease operation anywhere outside of a licensed salon in North Carolina in 2024 due to laws and regulations set by the Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners. We embraced the sudden change and shifted our entire NC business model, sent our fairies to get their natural hair care licenses, AND opened a fairy salon space.

As of May 1, 2026 the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners have ruled that fairy hair no longer falls within the scope of its regulation, reversing the earlier enforcement efforts requiring fairy hair to be applied by a licensed professional within a licensed salon.

This change allows us to expand back into the community that we love and have missed so dearly with new skills, knowledge, and licensed professional stylists!
As we enter yet another transition period, we would like to thank our amazing clients in advance for their continued support, patience, and grace as we navigate this next chapter in fairyland 💖
