While sharing my film Release, I started asking people one simple question:
“How do you release?”
I expected different answers.
What I didn’t expect was how deeply personal and inspiring those answers would be.
Some people release through prayer; others through music, exercise, nature, journaling, therapy, or simply taking time to be still.
That’s when I realized Release wasn’t just a movie anymore.
It had become a movement.
That realization inspired my short documentary, Amorah: The Path to Whole Life Prosperity.
Around the same time, I welcomed my second granddaughter, Amorah, into the world. My first book was dedicated to my first granddaughter, so naming this documentary Amorah became a meaningful way to include her in this journey and celebrate the legacy I hope to leave for future generations.
In this documentary, six individuals share how they release in their own way as they journey toward freedom, healing, and Whole Life Prosperity.
Because there isn’t just one path to healing.
The important thing is finding the path that helps you move forward.
So I’ll ask you the same question that inspired this documentary...
How do you release?

After creating Feature film, Release, I wanted people to leave with more than just a message. I wanted them to have a tool.
That’s what inspired “27 Ways to Release”.
It’s more than a book. It’s also a journal designed to help you put the message of Release into practice.
Inside, you’ll find 27 ways to release what no longer serves you. Each way includes space to reflect and journal, along with additional pages to continue your personal journey.
Healing doesn’t happen in a single moment. It happens one choice, one step, and one release at a time.
What’s one healthy way you release stress or recharge?

My experiences over the years, giving and receiving massages, brought me to the point of writing this book, “It Goes Deeper Than the Muscle.” I often discuss how my clients may anticipate a release and sometimes delayed affect in my pre-massage consultations, both physically and emotionally. Sometimes things are going on in our physical bodies that doctors cannot pick up, but we still have symptoms. It also happens sometimes when you get a massage. It feels suitable for a little while, only for the tension to come back. When this happens, it’s more than likely related to something that goes deeper than the muscle, although it may be stored in the muscles. After all, if you hold on to things you need to let go of, it has to go somewhere. It’s like the way Covid-19 affects people with underlying issues. We all have underlying issues that we can nurse. We have so many things that we deal with, known and unknown, which affect us in so many ways. This book aims to help you get to the root of the problem and experience freedom. I challenge you to make self-care a lifestyle while attaining self-discovery.
Last week, I shared how my book, It Goes Deeper Than the Muscle, was born from years of seeing that healing often goes beyond physical tension.
That message stayed with me and eventually inspired my feature film, Release.
Release follows a group of individuals who attend a wellness retreat seeking peace and relaxation. Along the way, personal struggles surface, relationships are tested, and lives are transformed. Some will grow, some will heal, and some will be renewed as they let go of the things that have been holding them back.
As a massage therapist, I’ve learned that true wellness isn’t just about what we carry in our bodies—it’s also about what we carry in our minds, our hearts, and our lives.
Whether through massage, books, films, or retreats, my mission has always been the same: to help people release what no longer serves them so they can move toward Whole Life Prosperity.
What is one thing you’ve had to release in order to move forward?
Every massage is customized because no two bodies, and no two people are the same.
Whether you’re dealing with stress, muscle tension, chronic pain, or simply need time to recharge, I’m here to help.
