My husband and I didn’t make it into the finals for the Americas Favorite Couple contest, so I’m back to regular Somatic content. Thank you to everyone that helped us get to #4 though!
It was a lot of fun. And, something almost as exciting happened yesterday…after fighting with Google for almost a year my business listing is finally updated and I’ll show up in searches. If you’ve ever been on my table I would love a review if you haven’t left one already.
Thank you 🙏 🩷

My husband, Logan and I are still in the running America's Favorite Couple 🙏
Here’s a part of the story NOT in our contest profile…the link in my bio 💕
When we met over 18 years ago, we both had very dis-regulated nervous systems. He had been through a short but rough marriage and I was living in fight or flight 24/7 as a single mom with PTSD.
And, the “funny” part was, we both had already been through lots of therapy…and thought we were all healed up and ready for new love 🤣
While we were dating he was so scared to move forward and struggled with depression. I wondered if I had it in me to be in a relationship with someone who was struggling like that…while also raising a pre-teen.
And, I remember early on when he told me, “you’re not thriving, you’re surviving”. I was so offended….cause I was someone who helped others feel better and thrive. How could this be true!?!
But, it was….very true. And, because he loved me and I trusted him, I let him see the truth. And, he saw it before I did.
That was just the beginning. Boy, did life really test us - individually and as a couple!?!
YEARS of ups, downs, and lots of sideways - really piling it onto our already fragile nervous systems.
We both actually broke (I suffered a nervous breakdown and he got a temporary debilitating illness). But our marriage grew stronger because we worked together - lifting each other up into healthier, stronger and more resilient individuals and life buddies.
Healing our nervous systems and growing our connection wasn’t easy and it takes daily commitment to each other and ourselves. But the reward for our hard work is a deep, loving, vulnerable, lifelong connection…everything both of us dreamed about in a romantic partnership.
If this is your dream too, and you haven’t gotten there yet, there is hope. Keep working on yourself and be vulnerable. If the thought of this sets your nervous system on fire with fear though, then nervous system healing is step one.
If we’ve inspired you please help us win this so we can share our love and healing story with more people. The link to vote is in my business bio or you can use the QR code.

Thank you for helping us get here! Keep the votes coming 🙏 .
Meta has blocked me from posting any reels, videos, or the link to vote until after the contest is over. So that’s going to make this even harder for us since we’re just regular people without an influencer following.
Ai doesn’t understand the posts and claims the link is phishing (it is absolutely not)….and of course I can’t get any human help. But, we’re not giving up! This is nothing compared to the hurdles we’ve been through together.
Please help us get to the next round and eventually to #1 in spite of this ridiculous technology hurdle.

After almost 16 years of marriage we are truly and deeply still IN LOVE. These are 3 skills we learned early on that have helped us through the rollercoaster of marriage and family.
1. Be open to growth and change individually and together. Take care of your health - especially your mental health.
2. Communicate. Don’t guess. Don’t assume. Ask. Share. Don’t hold back - good or bad. Remember to keep it kind and loving with the intention to build your bond not break it down.
3. Yes, life is busy (especially with kids), but you HAVE to make time to invest in your relationship - Daily. Flirty texts count if that’s all you can do….and sometimes that is all you can do. Need suggestions. Just ask!
4. This one’s a bonus….get together with your partner and vote for us 🙏 Link to vote is
When Logan and I met, we were in our 30’s - he’d been married and divorced and I had been a single parent for 11 years.
brought us together and our love made us a family. Logan has loved my son for almost as long as he’s loved me. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner and co-parent.
Winning this contest would mean the world to us and our kids.
