The brothers of ONYX Deep South are once again stepping up for our community, and we invite you to join us in making the season brighter for children in need.

From Tuesday, November 25th through Saturday, December 20th, we’ll be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Kids in Distress — and we need your help to fill the bin!

It's that time again!!!

2023 is a world of possibilities, and I want to help make this the best year yet. I have committed to do my part and am looking forward to not just fundraising and helping change the face of HIV and AIDS but to be part of this amazing event this year. On Friday November 17th, and Saturday November 18th I will join hundreds of other individuals who will ride their bicycles or crew from Miami to Key West 165-miles. Our journey will be one filled with hope, filled with pride, and filled with the dream of a future free of AIDS. This year will mark the 20th year of The SMART Ride journey, I have set an ambitious goal to help raise more than the required $1250 because I believe what we do makes a difference (and because 100% of the money you donate will go back to the community).

The event guarantees that every penny that I raise (with your help) will be given to AIDS Service Organizations and directed to prevention, education and direct services. Together we can make a real difference, we can change the world, and help free future generations of living with HIV, while helping those already affected, infected or at risk today stay healthy.

This event is unlike other similar type events. It’s the second largest AIDS bicycle ride in the country and the only one of its size to guarantee that 100% of the funds raised will go back to the benefiting agencies. I hope you will consider joining me on this journey.

Notification of upcoming vacation!

I just wanted to touch base with everyone to notify you of an upcoming vacation. I will be out of the shop from May 26 - June 12. Please plan your appointments accordingly. If you have a standing/recurring appointment or if you have already booked an appointment during this time frame please accept my apologies. I will be in touch with you to cancel/reschedule those appointments. I will do my best to accommodate you before I leave or after I return.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is necessary for me to recharge my battery every once in a while in order to give you the best service possible.

ALL of the proceeds from the sales of the shirts are poured back into our . I ask the you please help us support our local members by purchasing your favorite t-shirt (or two)!

Here at Blades Barber Studio, I appreciate your continued loyalty and support.

As always, I want to be able to provide you with the best service possible at an appointment pace that allows you to relax as your service is being provided.

Due to increased costs of materials, equipment, supplies, rent, etc., I find it necessary to make a price increase in order to keep up with inflation and the increase in overheads year on year.

Blades Barber Studio is proud to announce that we have partnered with Holy Cross Health to provide HIV Self Tests to those in need.

If you, or anyone you know , need an HIV Self Test, please come by the shop. Scan the QR code, complete a short form, show proof of completed form, and you will be provided with a test. The test provides results in 20 minutes.
