I’m incredibly honored to welcome some new friends to this page, so I thought I’d post a little about me.

I’m Kristina, owner and stylist at Keen Hair Co.
I’ve been a hairstylist for 15 years! Crazy right, since I’m only like 22?! 😉😉

I grew up on a little piece of land and collected (aka begged our mom for) chickens, ducks, rabbits and the occasional goat or two.

I went to cosmetology school in high school, because I was lucky enough to know exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I also LOATHED the idea of going to college. So…trade school it was!

After getting licensed, I worked at a large salon that taught me how to be a professional. Better yet, it taught me that I had everything it took and more to be my own boss!

I opened my salon in 2020 and have learned and grown so much. Being a salon owner has been such a privilege for me.

I started specializing and focusing on Keratin extensions in 2021, and now most of my business consists of ktips. I will ALWAYS be a hair colorist at heart, though!

I absolutely love the education aspect of this industry and most recently have been connecting with other stylist to help them master their extension skills. Talk about a privilege!?

In my free time, I am at the barn riding my horse Dora Diadora aka Dora or hanging out with my husband and pups. We are also welcoming our first baby in November and we are over the moon excited!! Sometimes you can catch me in Disney world with my besties. Yes, I’m a proud Disney adult 🐭

Six years ago today, on July 1, 2020, I took a leap of faith and opened Keen Hair Co. I had no idea exactly where this journey would take me, I just knew I had a dream and was willing to work for it.

These last six years have been full of highs, lows, mistakes, lessons, growth, and moments where I questioned myself. But through it all, I never gave up. Looking back, I’m so grateful for every challenge because each one has helped me grow into the business owner and person I am today.

One of the greatest blessings of this journey has been all of you. It’s an incredible honor to serve my clients, build real relationships, and help each person leave my chair feeling confident, beautiful, and ready to take on the world. That part never gets old. ✨

To everyone who has trusted me with your hair, cheered me on, referred a friend, shared a post, or simply believed in me—thank you. Your support has meant everything, and I truly wouldn’t be celebrating this milestone without you.
