I love the subtle variation of her texture.

Clients often express frustration from having various texture types throughout their hair, but I actually love it...I think it gives each person such a unique and individual look and adds so much interest to a cut. Just my opinion. 🥰

This wonderful human had been cutting her own hair....and I have to admit, she was doing a pretty good job! Lol. But I'm loving how some strategic shaping really helped it come to life. ➰

Nope, we didn't color it, it's just hydrated 😁 The simple power of water. 💦➰

It was such fun working on this first-time client's long, lush, deep auburn curls! 🍁Some tones of color reveal this much more noticeably than others, but typically dehydrated hair appears somewhat lighter while hydrated hair appears darker. (Kind of like when jeans are dry versus wet.) Pretty cool, huh?

(And yes, obviously lighting can change the appearance of color in a photo…but this example was in fact particularly due to the hydration aspect.😊)
