🚨More pets go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year!

With Independence Day approaching, we want to take a minute to remind everyone about how this holiday affects our fur babies. Many pets are terrified of fireworks, and social media ends up flooded in the following days with lost pet posts saying their animals ran off during the festivities. Some end up in shelters, a few are reunited, but some never make it home.

Please remember to keep your pets safe INSIDE during the celebrations, and to make sure they have proper identification in case of emergency. Update microchip info if needed, and make sure they are WEARING a collar with tags.

Refrain from letting your animals outside during fireworks and make sure all entries/exists are SECURED. In desperation, a scared animal will try anything to get away.

The use of anxiety medication/CBD can be helpful in calming your pets, and the best thing for them is to know you're there during this scary time.

Let's all have a fun and safe holiday, and prevent lost pets this year!
