Yesterday marked 20 years from my first day working as a professional hairstylist. T W E N T Y. From 2006 to 2026, I have learned so much, gained so many wonderful friendships, and still enjoy this amazing career. I am so thankful and grateful for every last one of my clients throughout the years….for putting up with me when I’m behind or texts get lost, for bringing me coffee or a snack, enduring 3 maternity leaves and then Covid shutdown, for loving my Bruce and learning to love The Batman 🤪…..I am able to be the wife and mother I am to my family bc of y’all and that is beyond any simple “thank you” I can muster. I cannot believe I’ve been slingin hair this long, but here I am. Thank you for loving me and mine, for trusting me for your first haircuts, proms, weddings, honoring me by having my care for funerals, and everything in between.….thank you for trusting me with your stories and for listening to mine. Y’all are the best 💜

Good morning, friends!! Just wanting to re-post my schedule as I’ve been busy in here all summer and haven’t checked in at all 🫣

Shop hours are as follows:
Tuesday 9-2
Wednesday 9-2 and 4-9
Thursday 9-2
Saturday as football dictates 😜🏈

Wednesday evenings fill up FAST, so if you need an evening make sure you pre-book. I do keep a cancellation list, so please give me at least 24hrs notice if you need to cancel to allow someone else to take your spot. I take off the week of Christmas and am already taking bookings for holiday appts so don’t delay! I have Fridays as a “swing” day to use in emergencies, but first and foremost I’m a mama and Friday evenings will be taken up with football for a few months! We have a new shop dog in town. “Batman” is still learning the ropes, but he did find his throne this evening (vs the hairy floor 🤪). He is super happy to greet all women and children, but is timid around the men folk. He does *want* to love the fellas, but is just a lil nervous. He will get there, though! He can’t wait to meet everyone (and sit in your lap, if you’ll allow it…as me how I know 🫣🫣). If you would prefer a Batman-free visit, just lemme know. ❤️❤️🐾🦇

Bruce passed away this morning, in his chair. He would beat me to his spot anytime I was walking this direction…to take his place as World’s Greatest Shop Dog. 👑🐶

Thank you all for loving him well….bringing him treats and cookies and pup cups and always ready to let him have his chair. He loved being loved, that’s is for sure. Y’all have made beautiful memories for me with him in here, and I am thankful I have such dog lovers as clients ❤️🐶❤️ My heart is so broken and I miss him so much already 💔

Brucey update! We FINALLY were able to get his meds in him over the weekend and he started looking better. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Went to the vet yesterday and she was relieved with his progress. He still isn’t 100% but the meds are helping and we just pray they continue to do so for as long as possible. He is still here to greet you and happy to go to work each day. His chair is def his happy place 🥰

My perfect little shop dog is not feeling well. We have been trying to figure it out, thinking it was maybe his back or hips again… maybe his teeth. We took him to the vet yesterday and I told him, “Brucey, you will feel so much better when we get the bad tooth out.” Unfortunately, it is not his teeth but his heart. They did an X-ray and his left lung has so much fluid. His heart is working so hard. He is so tired. The vet gave him meds and sent us home with some. He’s not really eating so it’s hard to give him what he needs to feel better….we will
Go back to the vet Monday morning.

As 2023 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you all for your continued trust and business. Being in this industry 18 years, I am proud of the relationships forged. I am so happy for another year of laughs and life and hair.

Due to the ever rising operational costs, I am having to adjust my pricing. I do not do this lightly as I know we are all having to cope with tight budgets. However, to maintain my high standards of care, an increase is necessary. This will begin January 1. The new menu is listed below. I again thank you for your trust and loyalty.
