2026 hair trends and requests I’m seeing the most so far, healthy, effortless, luscious.

Everyone is wanting healthy hair this year, and my little hairstylist heart is so happy! As a hairstylist I’ve always preached the importance of healthy hair, but often it’s met with I don’t care I just want…and they deal with the consequences later. This year, looks like everyone is tried of dealing with the consequences and ready to step into the healing hair journey. Regular haircuts/trims, less heat, sticking closer to natural color for lower maintenance, no high contrast color, regular hair masks rotating between moisture, and protein, and using protective products. This is the fool proof way to healthy hair in 2026.

40 in 40 days! The official countdown to 40 begins. How is that even possible?! I certainly don’t “feel 40” not that I even know what that’s supposed to feel like. But I definitely don’t feel the number matches my inner age. Mentally I feel calm, secure and excited! There truly is something magical as you get older where you feel secure and comfortable in who you are. You know you’ve made the right decisions to get you to this place, even with bumps along the way. They shape you, they help you, they teach you. I am a forever student in this life. Ready for a new decade and all it has to offer!
