Brow Therapy

There’s been a lot of change, lately: personally, professionally and collectively.

I haven’t been able to tattoo for over a month now, and what I thought was an overuse injury to my right hand, has revealed to be much more complicated. I am working with a team of neurologists, physical and occupational therapists to understand what this means for my career moving forward.

For the foreseeable future, I am forced to stop permanent makeup & esthetics until I know what rehabilitation may make possible.

I am so sorry to everyone I’ve had to cancel in the last couple of months. Please know that each cancellation takes a BIG piece of my heart with it.

Additionally, I deeply regret not being able to accommodate all the new inquiries and requests coming in, and therefore I disabled my online booking platform.

Furthermore, I’ve made the difficult decision to let my studio space in Windsor go. Holding onto a space that brought me so much joy and purpose, without physically being able to be there to create, is a different type of heartbreak. Someone else deserves to create something beautiful here again.

I don’t fully understand why things happen the way that they do.
But I have to be optimistically delusional that maybe some things aren’t meant to break you, but to build you. And that sometimes, loss isn’t really loss, rather a redirection. I have to listen to my body, trust my instincts and listen to my inner rhythm. I have to trust the flow of life moving through me.

To my amazing clients who have sat in my chair, followed my journey from the beginning, supported me and trusted me; not only with your faces but with your stories, I am deeply grateful. These connections have been the foundation & the most fulfilling part of this career.

The last five years have been a dream and I couldn’t have done it without you.

Along the way, I learned that I could transform a dream into reality, create something beautiful and successful from scratch, and I KNOW I’ll be able to do that again.

For now, I am going to work on healing my hand and my heart, so that I can move into whatever the next chapter is with grace, patience and a stronger version of myself.

Please know, this isn’t me giving up. It’s my body telling me to slow down and find myself through the process. I am a firm believer that what is meant for you, will never truly leave you, and that when one door closes another one is around the corner waiting to be opened.

Waxing has been intimidating for me & I don’t know why.

I’ll tattoo your face no problem, but ask me to wax and my nervous system goes haywire 😵‍💫 but I don’t fold under pressure.

This girl came to me for the first time a couple of months ago and said her brows are her EVERYTHING.

I told her I had literally waxed maybe 4 eyebrows in my life and wasn’t sure I was the best person for the job, and that I had just added the service a week ago to my menu.

She trusted me anyways and I’m so glad she did because honestly, growth comes from uncomfortable things and here we are ❤️

She’s come back since && we’re growing the cutest little relationship.

So, moral of the story is, we grow when we are challenged & come get a brow wax and help a girl grow 😉
