Recovery going slower than I’d hoped. Luckily Santa brought me some good reading and a little puzzle to keep me busy. Thank you Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (I love it when gifts pull double duty and we can support such a great organization).
Wow! That was quite a storm. Thank you to those who expressed concern for me living in Forestville. - we're fine where we are - it would have to be pretty catastrophically high river levels for our house to be at risk and the winds weren't too bad for us this time - thank goodness.
The surface street flooding is a whole new ballgame however. Less near my house this year but the amount on the main roads I take into work during storms was crazy. I had to take a cat to the vet unexpectedly yesterday morning before work and my car was hydroplaning on the freeway! I've never seen it so bad so I did end up rescheduling my clients and staying home after the vet visit.
No way I wanted any of us driving in that nonsense!
As a result I opened up a few appointments tomorrow (supposed to be the driest day of the weekend) and I think there's still one spot open.

I'll be out of the office for Thanksgiving 11/27, 11/28, 11/29.
Sat 11/30 is wait-list only so if you want a wax that day, please use the wait-list feature on Vagaro when booking.
After that, my schedule is only open through 12/18/24 because of my scheduled hysterectomy.
If all goes as planned, I'll be back in the office on 2/1/25. I will let folks know if anything changes with that schedule.
Wow! Thanks guys for a record breaking October. Crazy. Normally, October is slow season but you all tricked me this year. Wonderful. And I hope you know just how much I appreciate you. 🥰
