We have an announcement ❤️
Many know that Cassie sold the barber shop in 2024 to Mindi and Colby. But after much thought and many conversations, we wanted to let everyone know that Cassie has made the difficult decision to retire from barbering and not take any future appointments.

This was not an easy choice for her. After spending so much time building relationships with her wonderful clients, saying goodbye to this chapter is bittersweet. She was the owner of Bob’s for an amazing 33 years. She will truly miss seeing all of her valued customers and is incredibly grateful for the support, conversations, and friendships she’s made over the years.

While we’re now considering Cassie officially retired, don’t be surprised if you see her pop into the shop once in a while to help with a few walk-in haircuts. 😊

From all of us at Bob’s Barber Shop, but especially from Mindi, we want to thank Cassie for everything she’s taught us and contributed to our community. She paved the way for my future and my family’s future and I could never thank her enough. She’s been like a second mom to me these last 4.5 years and the shop will not be the same without her. I am going to miss her SO much! But we wish her nothing but happiness and relaxation in this next chapter.

Please join us in wishing Cassie a happy retirement! We know she hopes to see many of you around town, and she’ll always cherish the memories she’s made with each of you. ❤️✂️

We have a little change of plans for next week. We will be open Tuesday and then open for only HALF of the day on Walk in Wednesday. We will be open 9-12 taking walk ins but we can not stay any longer than 12 because of meetings to close on our new house, so if we have to turn you away we apologize deeply in advance!
We will be open Thursday with only mindi and Colby on. And then we will be closed Friday and Saturday. We hate more than anything to have to close shop but in order for us to move closer to be MORE available, we have to take a few days to make it happen! Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding! 🏡🙏🏼

‼️‼️ Just a little heads up, Mindi and Colby will be your only barbers on for the next couple weeks, meaning we will be pretty short staffed. Please bare with us and we will do the best we can to get everyone in that we can‼️‼️

Just a quick reminder for online booking ‼️

When booking your appointment online, please take a moment to double-check the Date of your appointment and not just the Day of the week.

We’ve had a few instances where appointments were accidentally booked for the wrong week because the day looked correct at a quick glance. Taking an extra second to verify the full date can help avoid any confusion and ensure you’re scheduled when you intended.
Mindi is booking out sometimes a week ahead and sometimes a few weeks ahead for Saturday appointments.

Level 3 is a professional grooming and barbering brand we found when we went to the Connecticut Barber Expo in June. We fell in love with their products and we hope our valued customers at Bob’s will love them just as much as we do. They are amazing quality, have amazing scents, and at an affordable price! ❤️

We will be CLOSED this Friday 7/10. It’s Mindi and Colby’s oldest daughter’s birthday and they have special plans for her! 🩵 Sorry for any inconvenience!
