Our 5th Annual FadezByJ Back to School Backpack Drive is officially in the books. 💈

I’ve always believed that when God gives you a platform and an opportunity to bless other people, you use it. If you don’t, then what good is having that platform?

First off, thank you to the entire Winslow community for showing up and supporting us today. We were able to give 58 free haircuts between 3 barbers (with no breaks 😂) and hand out 160 backpacks along with school supplies. Seeing all the kids leave with smiles makes all the hard work worth it.

To anyone that we weren’t able to get to for a haircut today, I’m sorry. We did the absolute best we could with the time we had. I wish we could’ve got every single person.

Thank you to everyone who donated on top of what we already had. Thank you to everyone that tipped us even though the haircuts were free. None of that was expected, and it means more than you know.

I also want to give a few people a shoutout.

Our 5th Annual Back to School Backpack Drive is happening TODAY from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at FadezByJ Barbershop!

We’ll be providing FREE backpacks filled with school supplies and FREE haircuts while supplies and time allow. We’ll do our best to accommodate as many families as possible. Even if we’re unable to get everyone a haircut, we’ll still be giving out backpacks while supplies last.

Our FadezByJ Backpack Drive is coming up, and we can’t wait to give back to our community!

We will do our absolute best to accommodate as many families as possible. While we may not be able to provide a haircut for everyone who attends, we will have backpacks filled with school supplies available to help get students ready for the new school year.

If you’d like to support the backpack drive, we’re accepting donations every day at the shop from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Every backpack, school supply, or monetary donation goes directly toward helping local kids.
