I realized I never really reintroduced myself on here… and a lot of you are new.
So if you’ve been wondering what I actually do (because I know it’s a little different), this video is for you.
I talk about:
– what oncology skincare really means
– the kind of clients I work with
– and how permanent makeup fits into all of this
If your skin has ever felt sensitive, reactive, or like it needs more care than correction… you might find this helpful. Talk soon!
When your brows are designed correctly, mapped with intention, and healed properly… they don’t need daily maintenance.
This is why I’m so particular about shape, density, stroke direction, and long-term pigment retention.
Read her experience below. ⬇️
🗣️ I’m going to share one of my best kept secrets… are you ready for it? 😉
Last year I went to The Flawlesskin Company .co to get my ombré brows and babyyyy… when I say these brows have been HOLDING IT DOWN ever since? I have not had to fill them in. Not once. Not a pencil. Not a powder. Nothing.
And the crazy part? I got them done during a season when I really was not feeling my best. The confidence boost was instant. Soft glam without even trying. It truly changed the game for me. And it wasn’t just the act of “getting my brows done”, it’s the intentionality that the owner, Brittiany shows in all of her work and the way her bubbly personality and caring heart made me feel before during and after my service.
Fellas, if you are still searching for a last minute Valentine’s Day gift, or honestly just a “just because I adore you” gift, book her an appointment. A microblading session is the kind of gift that keeps on giving all year long.
Trust me. She will love you for it.
And you can thank me later. 😉
Post-care is just as important as the procedure itself.
But oncology skincare goes deeper than that.
It means understanding what happens to the skin when the body is under stress. Whether from cancer treatment, illness, or even something as controlled as permanent makeup.
When skin is compromised, it doesn’t respond well to harsh actives or trendy products.
It needs:
• Calm support
• Barrier protection
• Ingredient awareness
• Respect for the healing timeline
After tattooed brows or ar**la restoration, the skin is doing real work beneath the surface. The way it’s cared for affects:
• Comfort
• Pigment retention
• Texture
• Long-term results
Cancer-informed skincare isn’t about being gentle just to be gentle. It’s about understanding physiology and formulating care that supports healing instead of interrupting it.
This is why I approach post-care the same way I approach treatment…with intention, education, and respect for the process.
Your skin deserves support, not stress.
Not all “natural” ingredients are created equal.
Two shea butters can look the same.
Two oils can feel similar.
But their purity, processing, and sourcing determine how the skin actually responds.
When skin is healing from procedures, tattooing, illness, or stress it becomes far more sensitive to:
• Over-processing
• Chemical residue
• Fillers and stabilizers
• Poor-quality raw materials
That’s why sourcing matters.
I care about where ingredients come from.
How they’re extracted.
What’s added, and what’s not.
Because when skincare is meant to support healing, purity isn’t optional. It’s essential.
In the winter, skin doesn’t just lose moisture. It loses its protective barrier.
That’s why dryness turns into tightness, flaking, irritation, and sensitivity so quickly. Shea butter works differently than lightweight lotions because it reinforces the skin barrier itself, helping slow moisture loss and calm stressed skin at the source.
This is especially important for melanated skin, eczema-prone skin, and skin that’s already compromised by cold air, heat, or over-cleansing.
There’s a reason shea butter has been relied on for generations. It isn’t a trend. It actually works!
When used intentionally, it doesn’t just soften the skin.
It protects, strengthens, and preserves it.
And in the winter, that’s the difference between constantly chasing moisture…
and finally keeping it.

Save this if your skin struggles every winter.

Your skin isn’t “dry.” It’s thirsty.
Cold air. Wind. Stress. Treatments.
And suddenly your skin feels tight, flaky and irritated no matter how much butter you slather on.
Here’s what no one told you 👇🏽
Your skin drinks water first.
In fact, during a warm shower, your skin can absorb the equivalent of up to 8 cups of water.
But here’s the problem…
Butters and oils don’t add hydration.
They don’t bring water to the skin.
They seal in whatever is already there.
So when you apply butter to dry, dehydrated skin, you’re not healing it. You’re locking in the dryness.
That’s why your skin still feels tight hours later.
The fix isn’t more products.
It’s the right order.
💧 Water first (cleanse, mist, damp skin)
🧈 Butter second (to lock it in)
Think of water as the drink.
Butter is the lid.
No lid = evaporation.
No water = sealed-in dryness.
This matters even more if your skin is sensitive, stressed, or healing.
Barrier health isn’t trendy, it’s foundational.
Healthy skin isn’t about doing more.
It’s about understanding how skin actually works and treating it accordingly.
Your skin is speaking.
This is how you listen.

Snow day, but skincare still gets handled ❄️✨
I’m open today for virtual skincare consultations.
No driving. No guessing. Just real guidance for your skin.
Here’s how it works:
You send me a photo lineup of the products you currently use or have sitting on your counter. Based on your skin type and what your skin is actually doing, I help you:
• Identify what should be used daily
• What’s better used occasionally
• What needs to be removed altogether
• What (if anything) should be added
• And I build you a clear AM + PM routine you can actually follow
This is perfect if your routine feels overwhelming, inconsistent, or just isn’t giving results.
If you’re home anyway, let’s make it productive.
DM me “VIRTUAL” to get started now✨

This is the mistake I see most. If your skincare burns, stings, or flakes…that’s not “working.” That’s your skin asking you to stop.
More actives ≠ better results.
Healthy skin comes from protection, repair, and consistency, not pushing your skin past its limits.
If you’ve ever thought “maybe this is normal”…
this reel is for you.
💬 Comment ME if this hit a little too close to home and you’re ready to do skincare differently.
Healing skin needs intention.
If your skin feels unfamiliar during chemotherapy, you’re not imagining it. Treatment changes how the skin functions, how it holds moisture, how it heals, how it reacts.
Oncology-safe skincare is different because it has to be.
It prioritizes barrier repair, calm, and protection. Not stimulation, not trends, not harsh “results-driven” shortcuts.
This isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what’s appropriate for skin that’s already working overtime.
Gentle choices. Thoughtful formulations. Care that supports the body instead of challenging it.
Save this for later and share this with someone navigating treatment who may need reassurance 🫶🏽
