I do not own rights to this music.......I just saw this on something on fb and it just hit home. All the churches Ive ever been to are special and all but there's just something that tugs at my heart a lil more about my home church Northwoods Baptist Church.I used to tell people I went there since I was an embryo and they would laugh but I wasn't joking. So many memories there of my family, friends and loved ones.My daddy leading the choir ,was a deacon, taught sunday school, did maintenance etc did the curtains andhis creative bucket spotlights he made for the Christmas play.My moma worked in the nursery, sung in the choir, helped with youth group, fed people at church for all kinds of activities, was on planning committee. My sister taught different classes, did older children's church. Worked in nursery, she and her husband lead the youth group, she wrote and directed the Christmas plays, they also headed up vacation Bible School.I sang in choir, was in charge of the nursery and 3 to 6 year old children church, I taught the elementary age kids in Sunday school, I once lead youth group Preacher Cuelller let me start, worked in vbs and worked with lil kids in the Christmas plays, I lead the ladies missionary group when they made me lol I always tried to work with noone past 8 years old lol cause they don't listen to me after that. My family sung together except my sister.I always thought she had a pretty alto voice but she would say she couldn't sing or play nothing but a radio lol I'd play my violin when Clyde or Fred made me lol many precious memories of members there I grew up getting to know and was mentored by them. They were my church family most of them are in heaven now but in my mind I can still see them where they always sit.Theres still a few there. Most of all that's where I got baptized after my sister lead me to the Lord when I was 9 years old and same for my daughter when she was 10.So many good memories so I was seeing all this in my mind while listening to this song and so thankful for all these memories.

Far too many parents are more concerned with their children making the team than making the Kingdom.
We’ll rearrange our schedules for practice, games, birthday parties, vacations, and eating out. We’ll drive hundreds of miles for a tournament without thinking twice.
But church?
Sometimes it’s the first thing we cancel.
Your children don’t just need you.
They need youth pastors who will remind them they’re loved when the world tells them otherwise.
They need godly adults who know their names, celebrate their victories, and notice when they’re hurting.
They need friends who love Jesus.
And they need to sit under God’s Word week after week until it becomes the foundation beneath their feet.
God never intended for parents to disciple their children alone. He created the church so we’d raise the next generation together.
One day our children will leave our homes. My prayer is that when they do, they won’t just know how to throw a baseball, swing a golf club, solve an algebra problem, or earn a paycheck…
They’ll know Jesus.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
