Back then, I had no knowledge of how to care for my curls and barely any products to work with. The only ones I remember using were LA Looks Gel and TRESemmé mousse. My hair was dry and stifffff!
Straight hair was in , curly hair was not.
There were no curly hair tutorials, no social media, and finding a stylist who truly understood curls was impossible. We were basically figuring it out as we went.
To say we struggled is an understatement. 😂 If you grew up in this era, you know exactly what I mean.
