Four years ago today we officially met on Labor Day weekend.
It was the 1st time I saw you singing at Old Man Frank's with Spankin’ Sadie and I took a pic of you singing that day. You asked for the pictures of you after and I snapped this pic of us …

At closing time a storm came out of no where, and we were both waiting for it to pass.You asked to sit beside me ….

They say that God will carry you through any storm, and “Even After The Worst Storms , The Sun Will Shine Again”….🌦️

We both were battling our own dark storms within . I feel like God brought us together that day to help us see that there was still Light On The Other Side….☀️

I Thank God for that storm that day and for crossing our paths .

What a Fun Night we had last night at Tanners Lakeside for Bingo For a Cause !!!!

We had a few of our Cutting Edge Crew from Melanie's Cutting Edge come out & Ms Vanessa Stevens won on her 1st Night ever joining us for Bingo🤘🏼

Culpepper’s Cardiac Foundation donated #103 AED last night to Garys Oyster Bar !!!

This AED was a “Pay It Forward “  by my husband , Brian Beilke with his business Stone Up Services & Masonry LLC. !!!

This AED donation was very special in so many ways. 
I personally want to thank my husband for standing by me through the years as he got with me when I was placing our # 7th , which is my favorite number and here we are now at placing
#103 .

He told me from the start that he would always be there with CCF and he has never let me down. He does over and beyond and supports me with everything that I do and even has to deal with me behind scenes which , sometimes I’m a lil hard to handle 😉but he is right there beside me..

Over a year ago , Brian , Eric Shimkus & I  happened to go to Gary’s Oyster Bar after we had placed an AED to another location as we always go get dinner after we place an AED.
Brian had never been there before and he absolutely loved the aura and vibe and of course the oysters with the Dirty Butter.
I introduced him to Drew , who has been there for nine years now , and we all just had a good connection as I had known Drew Derham for a few years when I’d go there all the time after Culpepper passed with the girls to have our weekly dinner and hang out.
Drew happened to tell us that night that his wife , Jaclyn , worked as a certified cardiac nurse at Tampa General Hospital.
Brian told us all that night that when he had the $ to place an AED that he would like to put it there so it went on our CCF list.

Well last night we were able to make this happen to place an AED right here at one of my favorite places to eat .
We had no idea that it would be such a special number to place the AED as it was actually the 3rd Year anniversary of Gary Gossetts passing .
Gary owned Gary’s Oyster Bar since 1948 and for 48 years , he always had his special spot where he sat at the bar. He would always have his VO and his pack of ci******es right beside him.

I personally met Ms Susan J Gossett , 37 years ago when I started doing hair , at the time it was called Jim Dandy Haircutters , Where I eventually took over and changed it to Melanie's Cutting Edge . Susan at the time worked for the advertiser and would sell ads to us and she was always one classy, beautiful woman, and I always have looked up to her..
Susan and Gary had been together for 38 years and what an honor it was last night to be able to place the AED there on the 3rd year anniversary.

Brians favorite number has always been #3 and it just so happened that last night it landed on 103 on the 3rd Anniversary of Gary’s Passing and how this  full Circle came to happen was nothing but a blessing.
We all miss you Gary and we we all Sat together last night to honor you . We got a special treatment from your wife and Drew after with our favorite oysters and of course, with some dirty butter.

 I was able to tell my story of how and why I started Culpepper’s Cardiac Foundation and then Eric Shimkus , a paramedic with the Winter Haven Fire Department ,and who does this all as volunteer ,gave a demonstration on the AED and CPR. We also incorporate a Choking Device and Narcan to carry in case of an overdose . All of these I added to our demonstration in hope to share the importance of saving a life . We incorporate a Fire Extinguisher to have as well , as I wanted to add this in honor of Jolynn. She was a little girl we loved and lost due to a car fire back in Nov of last year, and we want to continue our love for her and her mom , Logan Deines , with For The Love of JoLynn � � 🙌❤️.

The CCF Team were able to place an AED here in hope to help Save A Life 🙌. Thank you, everyone, and our Community, so very much, as without our community support, we could not make this all happen . In Honor of Michael Culpepper , my late fiancé , who passed away from heart failure in July of 2020, I started the Foundation and turned my pain into a purpose in hope to help save someone’s life . CCF raises $ by having Events , sponsors & donations. We place at least 2 to 3 AED’s a month in our community, as well as we give out three $1,000 scholarships . One is for Fire , one for Medical & one for EMT, as we have the utmost respect for all of our first responders.
