OK, we're in the homestretch!😁 they changed out the cast today and things are going great!! I'm able to start back part-time earlier than what I thought which is awesome! The week of October 19, I will be in part-time making sure not to overdo it.   I'm very excited to see all of you and be back behind the chair!!!

Oh my gosh, I had the craziest thing happened to me this week!  so I got a message and they said they were from my orthopedic office asking about my hand. They were asking what my pain level was and how it was healing and all of that and then they asked if the cast was loose. I said a little bit since the swelling has gone down so they asked for pictures and then a video of me moving it so they could see how loose it was.
They said oh it looks like you're doing really well. It is moving a little bit more than normal.
(now mind you I have an appointment for a week from Monday to get a new cast put on for another two weeks)
 They said to me in the text message that since I'm doing well, how would I like to go to an air cast? I was like that would be great since I'm going on a cruise and I would be able to at least dry it off if it got wet or I sweat.
And then, after that, they said OK try and pull off the cast and we will send you an air cast for free.
I was like what? Are you serious? Now I'm skeptical. Who is my doctor?
And of course they stopped messaging
I was like there's no way in heck I could pull off this cast and if I did, I would seriously damage what they did in surgery!
 So I spoke to my doctors office and of course it was not them, but can you imagine if someone fell for that? And I know I've been posting about it on Facebook, but that is creepy. It was definitely a person messaging me. 
Someone needs to find a new hobby lol 

I forgot to post about it, but I got my cast changed out to a full solid one on Tuesday. They said it's healing really really well! I find this stuff fascinating so I posted pictures but if you get grossed out, I wouldn't look too closely lol 

Thank you all so much for the well wishes. I have really really appreciated them! I realized I haven't worn anything but sweats in about a week so I rallied today lol I couldn't button them myself, but still, it was a success😂
I'm feeling much better actually, I really didn't take much pain medicine today. I can't imagine this taking 10 weeks to be back in service. Of course I'm gonna be careful but it's coming along really well! 

Step one done, thankfully everything went well. Thank you for the messages💕🥰 I'm thankful and surprised at how well it went coming out of it and resting today.

Did you know that it can relax your natural curl to straighten it all the time? And it takes time, months even, sometimes to get back to a pretty ringlet, but lots of times it can happen with encouragement.
