Reiki isn’t an ancient Japanese healing practice.
Ki is innately Japanese.
Engrained in culture, language and lifestyle. Not a mystical power.

New small travel size 100% pure jojoba oil in refillable glass bottle for sale in the honor system store.
Pure. Unrefined. First press. Nothing added, nothing stripped away.
🌿 Bring your empty glass pump bottle back in
🌿 Refill for less than you paid the first time
🌿 Same liquid gold, smaller footprint
A quick education moment: if you notice a little cloudiness or waxy settling at the bottom of your bottle that’s not spoilage, that’s proof of purity. Jojoba oil is technically a liquid wax, and unrefined wax esters can solidify slightly in cooler temps. Warm the bottle in your hands or a bit of warm water and it goes clear again. Refined oils won’t do this because the good stuff has been processed out of them. Yours hasn’t been touched.
Want the full breakdown — every skin, scalp, and hair use? Read “The Essential Guide to Jojoba Oil” — link in bio. 🔗
[Pictured is the 1.7oz (50ml) pump $11; refill for $8. Purchase and pickup in person only]

Every human should learn the mechanics of their own body. Not as rehab. Not as an intervention after something breaks. As baseline literacy. That means learning to connect to breath as a tool, not an afterthought. Recognizing subconscious holding patterns before they calcify into posture. Understanding that recovery is not optional, it is half of training, and not an accessory to it. Building a relationship with the nervous system, so regulation becomes a skill instead of a mystery.

It’s been a full year since I moved into Alchemy.
It was a big move. Scary AF honestly, because I was not in a place to be making such a big change. But, as I often do, I thought to myself: if it’s the worst possible timing, it’s probably also the best possible timing 😅😬
And I am SO grateful that I did it.
Alchemy back when it was in College Park, was the first place in Florida where I felt like I could exhale and just be myself. Unique styles, open-minded conversations overheard in passing. That was almost twenty years ago.
I can’t begin to describe how much I love being in this space now. How grateful I am to be part of this incredible group, under one roof.
I have the freedom to be me and offer services and products (plants!) that I had never even imagined before. My ADHD brain is running wild and feral, just the way I like it.
From the plants that get loved and shared, to the farm-fresh eggs, the loose-leaf chamomile, the DIY encouragement, the creativity that seems unimaginable.
Alchemy has given me room to grow in ways I didn’t expect. Teaching not just group exercise classes, but also body care and self healing. Curating plants and lifestyle goods, building out a little corner of the Lair that’s entirely its own. (PS… community class is back on Wednesday mornings at 9:30! Signup online, and come move your body. Link in bio)
The opportunity to say yes to feeling alive, even when it terrifies me… like swimming in bioluminescence at night in the middle of the ocean. (IYKYK.) 🌊
Here’s to another year in the Lair. 👁️👁️

Thanks again to Baba for one of the highlights of this year’s satogaeri, a visit to Japan’s National Diet Building (House of Representatives). We had lunch in the cafeteria alongside a group of middle schoolers on a field trip, and even got a moment with the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
I shared my concern for Japan’s countryside, the quiet erosion happening in regions left behind. It’s not his portfolio, but being heard mattered. 👁️👁️

Don’t let your training flat line. 👁️👁️
A flat line isn’t rest, it’s a stall. No signal, no growth, no change.
Intentional Kinetics and Body Care sessions aren’t here to replace your training. They’re here to add a pulse back into it. A boost, not a substitute.
If you’ve hit a plateau, it’s often not about working harder. It’s about working differently; waking up the muscles your usual routine skips, and rebuilding the mind-body connection that gets lost on autopilot.
📍 Intentional Kinetics: Saturday @ 10am | $30 /75 min
📍 BodyCare/Foam Rolling: Monday @ 1pm | $30 /60 min
Challenge the muscles you don’t train. Challenge the perspective you don’t question. Keep the line moving.
No equipment or shoes necessary, I got you!
Register online. Link in bio. See you in the Lair.

I've been thinking about the word "wellness."
Most of my clients tell me the same thing: "this isn't massage." They mean it as a compliment. They also mean it's intense.
They're right on both counts. I'm not just working soft tissue, I'm reading the whole body. Emotion, movement, nourishment, all of it together. And every session comes with education: what's happening in your body, and how to manage it yourself between visits.
I’m not a medical provider, and I don’t diagnose or prescribe. But, I’m a licensed practitioner under the Department of Health. And, I spend my days with both my hands on bodies. This builds a fluency in the patterns the human body shows. When something comes up, I can point to what I’m seeing and suggest how I’d approach it.
Massage does real, measurable work: moving lymphatic fluid, releasing fascia, restoring mobility, calming the nervous system. That overlap with medical care is real, which is exactly why “wellness” is the right word for what I do. Wellness includes health. It doesn’t replace it.
That's why I carry the tools I do; okyuu, pippu elekiban, bath soaks, herbs, jojoba oil. Self-care doesn't end when you leave the lair.
Join me when you’re ready to be seen, heard and challenged.
New thirty minute sessions for existing clients starting this fall!
