Throwing it back to one of my favorite copper transformations!!! Here we did a global lightening. Most of the ends were already platinum so we just needed to bump her natural up just enough to deposit our coppery goal 🥰

When I tell you this was one of my more nerve wracking applications 👀👀👀! Trying to make sure the COPPER doesn’t STAIN the white ?! 😅 I was SWEATING 🤣
I brought the white up slightly higher than I wanted, then painted the copper down to about an inch from the end color. Then used that blank space in the middle to hand melt the colors together. I made sure to wipe my gloves in between EACH slice of hair.
It was meticulous…
But it was DAMN WORTH IT 🥰😍
I can’t stop staring at it🤯🤩🥳

This. Was. Amazing. And when I say my brain hurts. It HURTS. Transformations like this are NOT EASY. And NOT possible for everyone!!!

To go from GREEN hair to WHITE, I started by lifting her roots, then went through and stripped the green. The green put up a fight 😵‍💫 however rather than further damage her hair by letting the lightener sit for too long, I pre-toned her Pink (yes I said pink 😉) and then toned the rest of her hair and her roots with two different toners to get this gorgeous iridescent color 😍

Color theory is the perfect blend of art 🎨 and science 🧪

We used in every step of her color to maintain the integrity of her hair.

My girl here is only able to switch colors so quickly and seamlessly because:

The Key to switching between vivids is being super gentle and patient during the removal process.

⚠️ if you use a lightener that is too strong you not only risk the integrity of the hair, but you could also end up pushing the color molecules even further into the hair, staining it FOR GOOD ⚠️

Use either a direct dye remover or a very gentle lightener, then make sure to WATCH the hair to rinse it as soon as it’s done 🫶🏽

So I went in with back to back Micro Slices through the top of her head. I clarified her ends and gently hand painted any pieces that needed to be brightened.
We did a GLOBAL toner😛 NO COLORMELT 😁 that blend is based on placement and technique 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Spring Back to Life 🌺

This incredible woman was feeling weighed down by her hair! 🏋🏾‍♀️It was getting too long and her curls weren’t bouncing up the way they used to!

So we did a BIG CHOP ✂️ to give her a fresh start!! Since she wanted big hair, with feathery curls, I used my feather razor to cut this beautiful s**g shape. This tool allows for soft shapes, while allowing me to seamlessly remove a lot of weight from the cut! 💇🏽‍♀️

Then to style her natural curls we tried a few different product combinations, and techniques to see what worked best for her texture. BUT I found that if you do TOO MUCH to her hair, her curl pattern DISAPPEARED 😱

The best combination for her was just a lightweight mousse and scrunching! Styled with Curl Glaze Mousse, diffused until dry. Then I broke up the curls with the Kenra Texture Paste and their Platinum hair Oil for shine ✨
