Fun post alert! 😆 I've seen a trend of posts saying, "What does your massage therapist do on their day off?"

Most weeks, I don't know what a day off is. Haha. But when I do get free time, you will most likely find me frolicking in the forest or at my new favorite hobby: Jiu-Jitsu!

I want to give a shout-out to this amazing small business: Strongpoint Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. When I searched for a place to start training, I got lucky and found this one. Everyone at the gym is amazing to work with. The class instruction is excellent! Whether you are experienced or a beginner, they make sure you are learning what you need in every class. Everyone I have trained with at this gym has been incredibly helpful, and no one has ever made me feel like I don't belong because I have no idea what I am doing.

They have classes for everyone- women-only, beginners, children, and competition class. If you are looking for a new hobby, or to get in shape, or maybe to be a pro, you should join me here!

In one month of classes twice a week, I can already see a difference mentally and physically. Let me know if you would like to join me! I'll be glad to answer any questions I can or point you in the right direction. 😍

Hey everyone! I want to begin by saying THANK YOU so much for your continued trust and support! You will never know how much it means to me that you continue to allow me to work in a career that brings me so much joy. 💜

Beginning 10/01/26, my massage rates will be increasing to reflect rising operating costs and the continued investment I make in providing high-quality care.

A peek at one of the certifications I have been working on- Sarga Thai! This is a fun one that I can't wait to share more about.

Sarga Thai blends traditional Thai stretching with Sarga myofascial techniques to create a unique and powerful session.

I will do my best to get some photos of me practicing to share this weekend. (I tried last weekend, but realized my body mechanics need to be improved when I looked at the photos. 😆 Body mechanics are important. Photos, videos, or a mirror while you are practicing can help you see where you need to improve!)

I recently finished two other courses that will create some unique options for sessions that I am equally excited to share. More on those soon. 😍

I wanted to let you know I will be leaving the Color Palette and moving to a new location, but I will still be offering services in Wise. I will be sharing space with Mantra Massage, which is located inside of Anchoring Hope. I am so excited for this move! The space is very quite, private and super comfortable. Services I will be providing Integrative Massage and Energy work. I may in the future do hypnosis from from this location as well. I will be continuing to work from my home location.

I have had several people interested in incorporating Reiki into their massage sessions lately, and I love that! Reiki is such a relaxing experience. If you are curious to try it, but don't want to miss out on your scheduled massage, let me know! We can create a plan that lets you experience both. I am sharing a research article on some benefits of Reiki.

*** Please note there are some limitations to this study*** However, I am happy to see that people are finally taking an interest in researching Reiki and similar techniques. It will be exciting to see what comes from future research!
