Find Your Balance - Day 24
Being healthy is a lifelong journey, not a destination. You will have to work to maintain your health and fitness once you reach your goals. Consistency is the key to sustained success. What are some of the tools you use to help stay consistent? I would love to hear your ideas!

Find Your Balance - Day 22
One of the reasons I like to run challenge groups:
"My dad has bees.Today I went to his house and he showed me all of the honey he had gotten from the hives. He took the lid off of a 5 gallon bucket full of honey and on top of the honey there were 3 little bees, struggling. They were covered in sticky honey and drowning. I asked him if we could help them and he said he was sure they wouldn't survive. Casualties of honey collection I suppose.
I asked him again if we could at least get them out and kill them quickly, after all he was the one who taught me to put a suffering animal (or bug) out of its misery. He finally conceded and scooped the bees out of the bucket. He put them in an empty Chobani yogurt container and put the plastic container outside.
Because he had disrupted the hive with the earlier honey collection, there were bees flying all over outside.
We put the 3 little bees in the container on a bench and left them to their fate. My dad called me out a little while later to show me what was happening. These three little bees were surrounded by all of their sisters (all of the bees are females) and they were cleaning the sticky nearly dead bees, helping them to get all of the honey off of their bodies. We came back a short time later and there was only one little bee left in the container. She was still being tended to by her sisters.
When it was time for me to leave we checked one last time and all three of the bees had been cleaned off enough to fly away and the container was empty.
Those three little bees lived because they were surrounded by family and friends who would not give up on them, family and friends who refused to let them drown in their own stickiness and resolved to help until the last little bee could be set free.
Bee Sisters. Bee Peers. Bee Teammates.
We could all learn a thing or two from these bees.
Bee kind always."

Find Your Balance - Day 21
I hope you enjoy your Sunday! Remember to carve out time to set yourself up for a great week. For me that means meal planning, grocery shopping and making sure my classes are scheduled. How do you prepare for a successful week?
Find Your Balance - Day 20
We are nearing the end. Has anyone completed their coloring page yet? I am behind in my outdoor time. I knew that category would be the hardest for me.
Find Your Balance - Day 19
We have 9 days left. How are you doing with your challenge? What have you been the most consistent with? What are you least consistent with? Let's use these last days to motivate and support each other so we can end strong.

Find Your Balance - Day 18
This is the quietest challenge group I have ever had. Can someone comment so I know you are still with me?

Find Your Balance - Day 17
This is so true!!!!! This statement is the main reason I run these challenge groups. Inspiring you to dig deep and be successful on this journey helps me do the same. My hope is that sharing your progress the same thing happens for you! How are you doing with Thai challenge?

Find Your Balance - Day 14
How is everyone doing? We all stared strong, but now we are nearing the mid point of our challenge. Typically, we start to lose steam. Don't. If you quit, you will have to start over. Dig down deep and keep going. You CAN do this!

Find Your Balance - Day 13
I been thinking about Challenge Groups and why they work. It is simple. If you are looking to make a change in your life, you have to change your thinking first, then the evidence appears. The moment you have the audacity to start believing in the not-yet seen, your reality will begin to shift.
When you hang out with whiners, pessimists, people who freak out and those who believe life is unfair, it’s an uphill climb to keep yourself in a positive space. Stay away from people with tiny minds and tiny thoughts. Start hanging out with people who see limitless possibility as the reality. Surround yourself with people who act on their big ideas, who take action toward making a positive change in this world and who see nothing as out of their reach. People like those who are in this group! We are in this together!! One of us entering a workout can give the rest of us the push we need to get our own workout in. Or, if one of us is struggling we can post about it and get support to get over the hump. I encourage everyone to jump in and use the awesome tool that is in your hands!!!!
