Hey everyone .. some salon updates

It's August ya'll for some its back to school/work and back to a different grind with ur families.

Our salon is a family friendly salon, we enjoy seeing ur kiddos grow thru the years and especially being part of their hair school styles. Please keep in mind this month for stylists is crazy 🤪 and we try our best to accommodate as best as possible.

For safety, sensory friendly environment we ask parents to please keep children in waiting area. We have plenty of toys/games to help keep occupied. This assures safety and all guests to feel comfortable enjoying their services.

Please note that services have had an increase, which ur stylist can discuss with u. As im sure we were all hoping at this point, the economy would have made some changes, but unfortunately, prices r still continuing to increase for us stylists as well. Some stylists have already implemented and suggest using cash venmo check or zelle giving us a little wiggle room to try to save wherever we can with guests. For small businesses credit/debit card companies r just hitting us hard these days.

For me (Jeana) personally I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and am trying to navigate my work and life schedule. My salon life is everything to me and I give my all the moment I step inside the salon. I kindly ask that u try to book in advanced and I appreciate ur understanding with some schedule changes while I navigate this diagnosis.

For a while now I have been saying and trying to set the boundary of no shows or canceling without 24 hr notice (feeling that stylist guilt bc we all know things do happen out of our control - which we will take into consideration) at this time the salon needs to implement our policy.. there will be a fee and or added to ur next service. It is out of respect for stylists time and other guests that it takes away from for an opportunity of a service. Our time is valuable just like any other profession.

We are forever grateful for all our guests who continue to support and love us. We ❤️ yas and look forward to our great convos and beautiful hair days 😘

6 months ago, my dad left this earth.. every day, every moment my heart hurts and misses him dearly. I wish I had more time to ask things, to have u see and be part of things, miss my daily phone calls and texts, miss hearing ur voice and ur corny jokes, ur presence in a room was like no other. Dad there aren't words to express how much I never expected to feel this way, losing someone is obviously heartbreaking but watching u slowly suffer and be broken down by cancer is nothing anyone should have to go thru. Ur fight and strength was for us, and I am proud to have been by ur side giving u ur last wishes. My life will never be the same, and navigating it without u is challenging.
If there is anything to come out of this... love ur people hard, take pictures, write things down to remember their stories or sayings or corny jokes, have them write I love u, save a card, cherish their recipes, keep them close to ur heart and always keep their memory alive 🫶🙏💔

Always in my heart and forever in my mind i love ur guts Faja .. thank you for all ur love

I always look forward to the New Year for New things and New memories to make.
I don't usually make resolutions bc if I don't fulfill them I get discouraged and say F it sooo the last few years I have been trying to find ways to improve myself as a stylist. Try something new or that held me back from trying something I haven't done in a longgg time. Explore a new place whether it be food or a new adventure with the fam.
