Our Office-
This year has been full of unprecedented experiences and challenges as we all navigate a world turned on end with Covid-19. We have found new and creative ways to serve our customers and community, allowing us to continue to provide exceptional experiences in uncertain times. As the initial shutdowns began we were able to relocate our staff’s work stations into their homes keeping everyone safe as they served you. Over time, we transitioned back into the office but with some changes that allowed our team to be there for you, as well as meet the new demands of their family lives. Like converting an office into a distance learning room to accommodate our staff's children allowing them to provide additional assistance with schooling while they work. We have learned like never before what it means to be flexible with routines and individual circumstances of our staff and customers. Perhaps, most of all, we have, and are still learning to be more understanding and have compassion for others…something we feel the word could use a lot more of! Our Team-
Ben Brown, Agent Owner: I am grateful to have been able to represent State Farm and serve the local communities for over a dozen years now! In our mission to provide the most outstanding service in the industry I’ve been privileged to work with and train some of the most talented people, and continue to do so. I didn't necessarily know this about myself when I started, but as it happens, being a part of staff development and helping them to learn, grow, and succeed, has been one of my greatest joys! When I am not at work, some of the things I love most about living in the Pacific Northwest are being outdoors, biking, tennis golf, traveling, and spending time with my wife and our 4 kids. The current pandemic has presented some new challenges, but has also taught me a great deal about how we can better operate and bring the things that matter most into focus...relationships and being there for people! We thank you for your support and trust in us. We will continue to work hard to warrant that trust and earn your referrals of friends and family! Mary Castelan, Team Lead: Ten years ago I joined the State Farm team at the Ben Brown agency. Over the years I have experienced personal and professional growth that have prepared me for my current roll as Team Lead. I have been privileged to get to know many of you and your families as we get peeks into the adventures and changes of your life while we help you prepare and protect yourselves and loved ones for whatever life brings. I have been experiencing my own life’s journey right alongside you. David and I have recently welcomed our first child into our hearts and lives. Our sweet girl, is already an agent in training as she accompanies me to the office and is my sidekick on the days that I work a flex schedule from home. Marilyn Hernandez, Customer Service Specialist: You may know me from my calls and messages with friendly reminders. In the last four years at Ben Brown State Farm, as a customer service specialists I have worked with each of you to maintain your policies and discounts, process changes, assist with billing and payment needs, and answer your questions. Much of the work I do is behind the scenes following up and ensuring that everything processes and issues correctly to help our customers have a positive and seamless experience. As a mother of two adorable boys my life outside of work is full of energy and playtime. We love to be outside enjoying the beauty and endless actives that nature provides. Rebecca Brown, Team Member: Having been a part of this agency before the doors even opened I am excited to be back in the office as a licensed team member. I enjoy my interactions with our valued customers as well as the relationships and associations within the office. I enjoy the process of creating, renovating, and innovating, whether that be an art piece or craft that I’m working on, breathing new life into a piece of furniture, reimaging the use and function of a space or evaluating and creating more efficiency in a work flow. And if you were wondering, yes Ben is my husband.
