☀️ Use a leave-in product with UV protection! This helps prevent color fade and protects your hair against the harsh summer sun.

🏊‍♀️ Wet your hair and use a leave-in prior to entering a chlorine pool. This will prevent your hair from soaking up chlorine. If you have VIVID HAIR pools are an absolutely no no. PERIODT.

💇🏽‍♀️ Book your next trim and/or toner. Summer is the time of year where so many of my clients are traveling (for the first time in years!) and generally just enjoying the moment rather than worrying about their hair. It’s a time where people go a little further in between appointments because we all know how busy summer weekends can get! If that sounds like you or you can’t remember how long it’s been since your last trim or toner, hit me up! Let’s get that taken care of.

When coming in for a color appointment, making sure your hair is prepped for your service will help me be able to formulate the correct color and plan for your hair, that your haircolor takes the most efficient, and that we have enough time for everything you want done during your appointment!

🛑 Stop using color pigmenting shampoo 1-2 weeks before appointment

💆🏽‍♀️ Wash your hair 12-24 hours before your appointment

✨Make sure hair is clean, dry, and untangled when you arrive

This is my favorite trick to stop washing your hair every day!

I get this question all the time from clients. “How do I go longer between washing my hair?

I get it! Who has the time or energy to wash, dry, and style their hair everyday?! Not me! And if you’re reading this, chances are you don’t either.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I’m gonna assume you’ve jumped on the dry shampoo train already. But did you know you might not be using it the most efficient way? Try this!

Use your dry shampoo as a preventative measure by spraying it at the roots before bed or working out to absorb extra oils as they appear!

⋄ Dry your hair with a cotton tee or microfiber towel. Regular towels tend to be harsh on your hair and rough up the cuticle resulting in frizz. Avoid this by using a more

⋄ Apply your products on SOAKING. WET. HAIR. As soon as your hair starts drying without any product, the frizz starts forming!
