Fear makes us all super uncomfortable

So now you’re totally allowed to laugh at me but this is one of my biggest fears. The dark.

I have been through so much including some forms of abuse so I just NEED to know what’s coming. I need to be able to see it. It makes me soooo uncomfortable and scared if I can’t.

But as you can see here…I try not to let it cripple me. I was literally in some dirt road in the middle of nowhere with a random cow in the street. And I got out! I got out of the car to see the beauty.

I’m not going to lie and say I continued to get out of the car when the others did. But I got OUT. I saw the beauty. I did it!! That’s huge for me.

Sometimes the best things are on the other side of your biggest fears! Do it scared!!! You never know the beauty that’s waiting for you on the other side.

This is me and my son hector. Hector is now 19 years old.

But my point here in showing you this is that without knowing it I conditioned him. Parents unknowingly condition their children into their fears, into how the see money, relationships…just about everything.

Really think about it…a kid as old as tiny hector in the photo…he was so curious!! He would up and go where he wanted. He wanted to see how things worked. He pushed the limits jumping off the couch in spider man stance shooting webs at me. There was NO LIMIT until we as parents, teachers, family say no…don’t do that…you can’t do this. We don’t mean any harm but it shapes us into people who say i CANT!

We teach kids that they have to go to school, eat their vegetables, go to college. So they can be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc.

We are not teaching them that there is limitless potential. We are teaching them that there is one way to be successful. That is what most people these days believe.

We need to recondition ourselves now as adults to reach for the stars. Say I CAN. Do what we want and gain financial stability or even abundance. Because we CAN.

So next time that little voice tells you I can’t…remember little you and do it anyway!!! Watch how high you can fly!!!

Here we are ladies and gents…it’s AUGUST 1st!!!

It is time to gear up, get ready to go back to school, back to work, back to reality! But first I want you to take care of YOU!

While I’d love to say this is MY month because it’s my birthday…I want to share that with you!!!

We spend the whole summer being rough on our body, skin, and hair…we concentrated on the kids and the family time! It takes a toll!!!

So get out there, do something for YOU! Get that massage, hit that spa, grab that outfit, pick up that mascara or lipstick, grab that bottle of wine, get that facial, get that mani and pedi, get your gummies, go to that restaurant, go watch that movie! Indulge and do something JUST for YOU!

You deserve it, you need it! So that’s it…august is the month of YOU! Do what makes YOU happy! SELF care! Be selfish! You can’t pour from an empty cup so allow this month to fill yours!
