WARNING FOR ALL NAILS SALON
This person will come to nails salon and say it is her birthday or something special to get the services and then her sister will pay for her. Her sister will call to the nails salon and say that she can not come to the shop to pay, only way she can do that she can pay over the phone so her sister can be done and leave the shop. After 2-3 months later they call the bank to cancel the payment.
It happened at our salonThis is what happened at our salon on June 3 2019. One lady called us, she wanted to pay for her sister Stephany because of her sister birthday. She picked what services that her sister will get: pedicure, full set, waxing, total amount was $114. She said She could not come to the shop, only way she could pay is over the phone. We told her that “ I can charge $114 over the phone but to approves the transaction, she need to send me pictures of her ID to make sure she is owner of the card”, she was ok with that. So I charged $114 and gave her my phone number. After 30 mins, Stephany came. She was acting strange such as: we asked her to check in into our system on the Ipad, she pretended but she did not do it, she was sneaky looking around and she tried to hide her face when she saw we looked at her. Two hours after Stephany came, I still did not get any picture from the lady. I asked Stephany call her sister and tell her to send the picture. After the phone call, Stephany said her sister will send picture right away. Two hours later, Stephany was done and we still didn’t get the picture. Stephany wanted to leave right away, she said she had to go back to South Carolina. We couldn’t let her go because the payment was not approved. We told her that she had to wait until her sister send the picture. We called the lady many times and we got the same answer but nothing happened, during that time Stephany was sneaky to run out of the door couples times but we stopped her. After 30 minutes, We still didn’t get anything, Stephany said she couldn’t wait anymore because she had to pick up her daughter at school. So we asked her that we had to take picture of her ID, She said she did not have ID. After arguing for little while, she had to show us her ID and leave. Compare between her ID and information that they told us, We found out that they lied about everything: her name, her birthday, where she live, kid... We don't know that she has kid or not, but she should not bring the kid to be a reason for her bad action like that. So we lost the money. My techs spent 4 hours working on her for nothing. It is so terrible to treat people like that. They worked so hard to make that money.
BE AWARE all business they will do that again somewhere else. The phone number they use 703-763-9161. Kick this person out of your salon if you don’t want the same thing happens.
