Color Correction 🙌 This young lady is the sister of my sons friend. I got a tearful message saying the color wasn’t what she wanted, was splotchy and uneven. She wanted a deeper red and it turned out more copper on the top and just a hue of red from mid shaft to ends. *Assessment: Asian hair, most likely a natural level 2-3. Mid shaft to ends previous box color, history of lighter brown and black. Current box color gave a root level 5 with mid shaft to ends being a 4. *Target: Deeper red, consistent color from root to end. Sensus Color Grace 6.5 is what she liked. *Formula: Root to just above the ear. Color Grace 1 1/2 oz 6.5 + 3/4 oz Impact Red w/20 V Mid shaft to ends Impact Red 2oz + 1oz CG 6.5 w/40V Processed for 55 min. **My photos don’t do it justice but it turned out beautiful 🤩 and there is another happy 13 year old in the 🌍 .us

*All current clients that have regularly seen me in the last year have my cell phone number. A text message directly to my cell phone is the best way to reach me for scheduling. My phone is on silent all the time, I DO NOT answer calls when I am working and cannot always check my VM (especially due to it being overrun with robo calls). I beg of you, even if you just want to say hello. PLEASE TEXT ME. I check texts more frequently as it is the most common form of communication for me and am much more able to respond to you this way than making a phone call. I am not a millennial I am just busy. ☺️

**Previous clients that I have either not seen in a few years or clients that stopped coming to see me due to the pandemic please reach out via cell phone as well. However I am currently working with a very limited schedule so please be aware I am booked up 4-6 weeks in advance.

***NEW CLIENTS. Unfortunately I am unable to take any new clients at this time. Exceptions are if a current regular client you know personally has referred you or I will take ALL new clients, adults and children that have found me through any of the Special Needs Groups (Moms of Children w/Autism, Community Boards for PWC, etc.) As well as any Active Duty Service Member or Law Enforcement Officer.

Finally I thank you all for your patience and understanding. I feel like I may sound blunt but I’m at the point in my old age 😉 that I’ve become tired of repeating myself. I will always remain professional, however just because what I do for a living is a service does not mean I live and breathe to be of service. I have been a professional hairdresser in the same city for 22 years. If I am not working I assure I am doing something else equally important. WELL HELLO EVERYONE!!!
It is great to be back to work! I’ve missed you all so much and it’s been such a pleasure catching up with what’s been going on the last month or two. So much so, I’m sure I should start booking in chat time!!!

Just a friendly reminder. Appointment requests have been overwhelming! While that is a good thing it has put my availability out to mid-July for most color appointments. Please, please, please book as soon as you are able to with your schedule. Many salons are still closed, even worse and sadly have closed down or are booked a few weeks out as well. This has caused new clients coming in, which is always welcome! However lessens openings for established clients. I will reiterate, it is always easier to move an appointment than to schedule last minute.

Currently I have a waiting list for cancellations and all openings will be sent to the list and given on a first come first serve basis. I am still only taking one client at a time (unless it is a couple or family) which limits availability even more. Thank you all for your patience and I promise I won’t yell at you for bang trims. Maybe for box color but I swear I still love you the same! 💕💕Lynda

SCHEDULING UPDATES FOR FUTURE! Dear Clients and Friends, just a few notes with the anticipation of being able to make appointments for the future. Most likely I will only be taking one client at a time for quite a while. To give you perspective when I normally can do 6-8 colors and haircuts per day I will be limited to 3-4. PLEASE SCHEDULE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE EVEN IF YOU FEEL LIKE IT IS TOO EARLY! I’d rather have you on the books and need to move you out a few more weeks than not have an opening for you when you’d like. Additionally times will not be as flexible, obviously, as well as squeezing in will not be an option either. Mornings and 4:00pm and later go FAST!!! Please be patient with me and available times. I love you all but I am not coming in at O dark thirty because you waited until the last minute and morning appointments are gone. To add to that if you come every 3-4 weeks I highly encourage scheduling a minimum of two to three appointments ahead. I always say its easier for me to reschedule you than to find an appointment last minute.

For those of you who have been with me for 15 years plus you know that I also do many other services including nails and waxing. Due to only being able to take one client at a time I’d like to offer nail services again, this can make the most of both your time and mine. I’d like to say, I’m not intending to steal you away from your favorite nail tech, lord knows I miss mine! I just thought I’d help out in the meantime. Finally! I am currently making available online ordering for retail products and gift cards through SQUARE. Hopefully its up but I do have some tweaking to do. You can also order products anytime and I will have them shipped to you direct from my distributor in Baltimore. I know many of you have inquired about color for home and while I know many of my fellow professionals are offering this service, which I completely respect, I do not feel comfortable and that is in alignment with my own personal professionalism. I hope you all understand, really I’m just being selfish and want all of your grown out roots to myself! As of today I am still working as usual and taking appointments. Next week I have the availability on Monday to arrange one person at a time appointments. I am happy to keep appts. a one on environment in that I will not do back to back booking at your request. We can all work together to stay beautiful, healthy and safe during this challenging time. Hello everyone! It has been a hot minute since I've posted here. Many of you know I have moved from Occoquan, sadly August 31st 2019 was my last day. I had refrained from posting concerning the move because one, well it was sad, and two I was unsure where my next location would be. I have been very fortunate to have been welcomed back to Envy Hair and Nails and will continue to be there for the time being. Just to clarify, I AM STILL PIN CURLS, just a different setting. I would also like to clarify that I AM NOT at Statements.
In regards to the current health concerns, I have every intention of remaining open and continuing services. All of the ladies at Envy are taking extra steps to keep our environment safe. Although as per most laws a hair salon and tattoo shop will be the cleanest places you can be! So go see Lily for a tat (most of you have the free time now) or come get that new look you've been considering, we will be waiting!
