Finally attempting to make ACV. I've been storing apple bits for months now, and my freezer is out of room! Apparently, the first one to two weeks is the most critical part, and stirring daily to avoid mold is required. Here's the countdown to baby and ACV! Sorry, Mom, if this job gets handed to you if I go into labor earlier than expected!😅 Mom has graciously volunteered to watch the boys and help me while I recover during postpartum. I hope I am as good a grandma when it's my turn!

New soap bars just unmolded and smelling strongly of Lavender, Rosemary and peppermint essential oils! Made with infused oils and lard, alkanet and French green clay. The molds show how sudsy these bars will be.🧼

These holiday soap bars turned out better, but still not what I was hoping for. I am calling these "Jomage," an homage to my Aunt Jo. I had made my second batch just for her, and she loved them so much she said I should make more, and so I did. This is for you, my loving Aunt Jo. ♡ soap inspo!

I think I'm going to stick with my regular rectangle soap molds after this, though. The details on these bars are clearer than my Indigo batch, and these smell wonderful, too. It's hard to tell, but I used three layers of different colors and smells, and it took longer to fill the molds. The batter came to trace almost immediately, and I had to hurry to spoon (instead of pour) into the molds.

Scented with essential oils of Lavender, Ylang Ylang, and Bergamot. Other ingredients are: Olive Oil Pomace, Water, Lard, Coconut Oil, Shea Buttter, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, and natural colorants (alkanet, Himalayan rhubarb, and annatto).

"Indigo Holiday" soap bars for $3 each. I have a total of 26 bars of holiday soap and plenty of non-holiday themed soaps.

My first holiday soap didn't turn out that great, but it smells wonderful!

Olive Oil, Water, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Castor Oil (for sudsy soap), Essential Oils (Lavender, Lemon, Cypress, & Clary Sage), and Indigo Powder (for color).

I will try again because it didn't pop out of the molds as expected, even with a chill on my doorstep for a couple of hours. Will tweak the recipe a bit and will have to choose another fragrance.

I do plan to sell these! Haven't decided on price yet.

Nettle Rose Charcoal Soap with Olive and Castor Oil. Mom says it smells good! There is no added fragrance, though, apart from the oil infusion.

All natural homemade skincare creams have a short shelf-life, and here is a great example to showcase that. I like to use a few drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract to help extend the freshness, but even that doesn't prolong it much longer. This cream was made the beginning of June of this year and has already started to turn a little funky. It was quite luxurious while it lasted! So, this is why I like to make any creams and lotions on a custom basis. I want my friends to be able to utilize every last drop! Another helpful tip for freshness is keeping homemade creams in the fridge between uses.
