Week 14 of cosmetology school 💄

This week we started learning all about perms! We went over perm theory, product essentials, and the different steps involved in creating and caring for a perm ✨

We practiced rectangular and bricklay perm wraps, learned how to properly remove the rods, and started working on spiral perm wrapping. We also reviewed the difference between acid and alkaline perms and when each one should be used 🤍

Our newest mannequin has officially joined the Ella Bella Diaries!

Another week full of learning new techniques, practicing our skills, and continuing to grow behind the chair 💇🏻‍♀️✨

Week 13 of cosmetology school 💄

This week was a shorter week, but we still got plenty of practice in! We learned the shake-no-fringe haircut, reviewed our head sheets, watched a demonstration, and practiced the cut before completing our practical ✂️✨

After practicing different haircutting techniques, I can officially say that the graduated line has been my favorite cut so far 🤍

Another week full of learning, hands-on practice, and building confidence as a future hairstylist 💇🏻‍♀️✨
