Chemical peels! 🤩🧚🏼👩🏼‍🔬🎨

There is a lot of stigma and fear around chemical peels, but I’m here to break down what they are and that they aren’t actually as scary as they may seem!

Why get a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a treatment where a liquid solution is painted on to the clients skin. The solution exfoliates the top layers of the skin and stimulates the production of new, radiant skin cells! Chemical peels are a great treatment because they can help with an array of different skin concerns. They can help improve the skins appearance by infusing ingredients, a lot of which are fruit acids, that cast off dull surface cells, diminish fine lines & wrinkles, acne, pore size, redness & discoloration, as they build collagen and improve tone. No matter the condition of the skin peels will help reveal more glowy and smoother skin!

A lot of the stigma around peels is created by the fear that a person’s whole face is going to be peeling like crazy and the treatment will be painful. While deeper peels will be more painful and have more peeling and downtime, most of the time clients will not need a deep peel and can achieve their desired results from a less intense, lighter peel with less discomfort and peeling. Regardless of the peel, after you heal you will be left with silky soft skin!
