Double bleach session for this "old hollywood" blonde. We opt for a warm blonde, instead of a typical ash blonde, because her natural hair is a warm brown. This will look more flawless when her hair is growing out. Most Asian girls have dark black hair, so it is typical to blend her roots with a cool tone shadow root, but since her hair is naturally warm, this was a first time I had to use a warm tone to shadow her root. A warm shadow would contrast an icy blonde and it would make her roots look like hot roots. Also matching her shadow roots with her natural instead of going darker and cooler will ensure no weird banding when her hair grows out. The more you know 🌈😏

She had a grown out color block and wanted some bright pop of color. I focused on face framing and adding brightness to her back section. We decided to skip foiling the top to create a peek a boo effect and also give her hair a chunky color effect. This was a fun color to do, especially if you want something different than a basic ash blonde balayage. ❤️
