I don’t believe in doing the same makeup look on everyone — what I do on my own face isn’t what I’ll do on yours. Every look I create is completely customized to you — your features, your comfort level, and your personal style.

While I do have brides who love a full-glam transformation, I also have many who prefer a natural, effortless look — the kind that still feels like you. I do natural makeup often for not only my brides, but also for their mothers and bridesmaids. Unfortunately, because they aren’t the main focus of the day, those photos aren’t always shared — but trust me, those looks are some of my favorites.

Sometimes people tell me I have a “signature style,” but honestly, I find that a little funny (and a bit offensive 😅). My work spans everything from film and runway to Halloween transformations and timeless bridal beauty — each look crafted uniquely for the person in front of me.

✨ What a powerful day at the Dress for Success Twin Cities Summit! ✨

I had the honor of helping women feel confident and polished by providing quick hair and makeup touchups before they stepped in front of the camera for their new LinkedIn headshots.

These weren’t full glam sessions—most of the women already had makeup on. My job was to fine-tune their look, take away any unwanted shine, and ensure their features translated beautifully on camera. Just a little professional TLC can make all the difference.

Winter Carnival Glam ✨

Yesterday was such a fulfilling day! I had the pleasure of doing makeup for several incredible women attending dinners for the Winter Carnival. Over the years, the number of women I’ve had the honor of taking care of for this event has grown to such a wonderful size—it’s a true testament to the power of building relationships, consistent hard work, and years of dedication to my craft and marketing.

This year, the group was large enough that I was able to bring in Tanner as my assistant. Tanner is always my first pick when it comes to big events like this. Not only is he exceptionally talented with hair, but we also work so seamlessly as a team to make sure every client looks and feels their absolute best. It’s amazing to see how my business has grown to the point where I can provide opportunities for other beauty professionals to shine, too.

For this particular event, I created stunning winter-inspired looks for three women, from radiant skin to soft, timeless glam that would hold up all evening. While I couldn’t capture photos of everyone, Tanner was able to snap a few shots of my work amidst the busy day.

To the women I’ve had the privilege of working with year after year for the Winter Carnival—thank you. Your trust and support mean the world, and I’m grateful for the chance to grow my business while making these special moments even more magical.

What Happens If I Am Sick?

Dear Clients,

I want to share my policy for handling situations where illness prevents me from providing services. While I am the last person to cancel and will always go above and beyond to fulfill my commitments, sometimes illness strikes unexpectedly. Knowing this, I’ve planned ahead to ensure you are supported, even in the rare event I cannot be there.

My Policy

If I become too ill to work, I rely on a trusted network of professional artists who assist one another with last-minute emergencies. This ensures that, whenever possible, your day is not disrupted. In these situations, I handle all communication and costs with the replacement artist so you can focus on your event.

Real-Life Experiences
1. The Day I Worked Through Illness:
One morning, I woke up feeling perfectly fine, ready to take on the day. However, during the event, I unexpectedly became very ill. Despite this, I continued to work slowly and carefully, ensuring the bridal party received the attention they needed. While I did attempt to find a backup artist, the only available option tried to price gouge me. Rather than leaving my client without support, I stayed and completed the day. The bridal party was incredibly kind and appreciative of my willingness to stay, and in the end, we were able to create beautiful results together.
2. The Day of the Reception:
On another occasion, I faced a deeply personal challenge when I experienced a miscarriage and was hospitalized the day of my client’s wedding reception. It was an incredibly difficult situation, but my first priority was ensuring my client was taken care of. I immediately reached out to my network and found a replacement artist. Unfortunately, due to the late notice, the timeline was too tight, and my client ended up doing her own makeup. She was, of course, refunded, but the situation reinforced the importance of having strong systems in place to prevent similar outcomes.

• Your Event Is My Priority: I am deeply committed to ensuring your day goes as smoothly as possible.
• Backup Plan in Place: In the rare event I cannot attend, I will quickly find a trusted replacement artist to ensure your event is still a success.
• Transparent Communication: If an issue arises, I will communicate with you promptly and work diligently to resolve the situation.

Why FashionFest Matters
In its 11th year, FashionFest has raised $3.5 million for M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. This year, proceeds will go toward the NICU, specifically funding life-saving communication systems that help care for babies as young as 22 weeks.

For Anisa's makeup, I used soft pink tones to enhance her eyes, complemented by individual lash clusters for added definition and allure.
