10+ years behind the chair, 5 in my studio and now here we are!
Life is wild, I NEVER thought this would be my path in life but I couldn’t be more thankful that I’m here 🤍

Huge announcement

This decision isn’t something I’ve known for a while, it’s something my husband and I have started discussing the past couple of weeks, but…..

I’m RETIRING

I’ve enjoyed building all the relationships with each and every client and being apart of some of the biggest days of your life’s.
I’ve watched a lot of you grow up, get married, get your dream job, have babies, and a lot of you have been with me through the same! We’ve shared a lot of laughs and a fair amount of tears over the years that will always hold a special place in my heart.
I hope no one thinks I’m blindsiding them and their future appointments, this isn’t something I’ve been planning for in advance and have known is coming up, but with our unique family & working dynamic, it’s what we’ve decided makes the most sense for our family.
If you’ve been with me since before I became a mom you’d know this was NEVER a plan I envisioned, but has definitely been something since becoming a mom that has been tugging at my heart.
It truly does break my heart knowing that after 10 years, everything I’ve built for myself has all come to an end, but I’m so looking forward to the next chapter in my life… Being a stay at home mom and homeschooling my children 💙

What does that mean for your appointments?

I will be behind the chair until November 14th, when I planned to go on maternity leave! All appointments until then do still stand & from that point I can refer you to some amazing local stylists who would love to welcome you to their chair! (Please double check these appointments dates still work for you in advance!)

I do have 2 openings remaining if you don’t have something prebooked and would like to get in 1 last time before my leave!

After my last day behind the chair, I will be logging out of my salon Instagram, but if you want to follow along on my next journey, feel free to follow my personal Instagram 💙

I love all of my clients so much and appreciate all the support you’ve shown my business in all of its different phases, I will truly miss you guys so much and can’t thank you enough for choosing me for so many years to be your stylist! 🫶🏼

Starting May 1st Wayne County will be working on West Rd completing storm structure repairs. This work will bring West Rd down to one lane in each direction from East of I-75 to Allen Rd. The length of this project is not known at this time. Take an alternate route if possible.

Hi friends!! I just reopened my schedule to new guests now that I’m coming back from maternity leave, so I thought this would be a great time to reintroduce myself!!!

My names Jackie and I’m addicted to everything blonding & extensions! I’ve been behind the chair since 2012 (wow has it really been that long 🤯).

Along with being a hairstylist & business owner, I’m also a wife, mama, & dog mom! I’m addicted to Netflix, more specifically Vampire Diaries, and diy projects (that my husband completes)😅😂

Fun fact: I used to be painfully shy, okay maybe I still am I certain situations, but being behind the chair has definitely forced me out of that!!

The health of your hair will always come first to me, I’d rather tell you no and not make money, than risk destroying your hair but forgetting about it as I drive to the bank. If you ask any of my guests, they will tell you sometimes I tell the no, but it’s about the long term goal. You want to grow your hair out from some previous breakage but you also want to brighten those ends to be blonde af? Yeah that’s gonna be a no from me! Not forever, but we need to work on getting your hair healthy first, then we can reevaluate!

I can’t wait to meet all these new guests on my schedule, and I can’t wait to see all my OG’s who I’ve missed so much these past 3 months! So in the meantime, tell me some fun facts about you! 👇🏼

I hear this so often in my chair: “My hair is just so dry and damaged! What do I do?” After talking through everything they’re doing to their hair, this comes up SO often.
They aren’t using a heat protectant!
I know it’s hard to get in the habit of remembering to use a heat protectant. Especially when you’re having a crazy busy morning. But using a heat protectant when styling is one of the most crucial steps to include in your hair routine to keep your hair healthy.
I know what you might be wondering. What does a heat protectant do? First off, it creates a protective barrier between your hair and the heat you’re applying to it while styling your hair.
There are also some other amazing benefits from using heat protectants like fighting frizz and decreasing blow-dry time. Who would love that?!
