Sometimes my failures are big and universal, even understandable.
A lot of times, they are confusing, simple, and "silly" even:
I forgot my wallet at the store (for the 3rd time this month)
I spaced my counseling appointment (even though it's been at the same time for 3 years)
I got absorbed in a project and didn't eat all day.

I don't consider these failures any more.
I see them for what they are:
An amazing person bumping into her limits.

💪 It takes courage though to look at a shortcoming others deem as inexcusable and lazy.
💪 It takes courage to keep trying, keep moving, keep brainstorming, when your brain tells you to just give it up.
💪 It is no small thing to get up again when you've fallen so many times.

I wish I could give you a big, squeezy hug and tell you how great you are doing. How brave you really are, each and every time you decide to try again.
Don't listen to the people that don't get it, because they don't get it!

You are doing great and I am proud of you.

Stuck in Skincare Paralysis? Telling yourself:
wash your face
wash your face
wash your face
for the love of pete, wash your face.

This isn't gonna work.
There are so many steps to washing your face, no wonder it is overwhelming!
That's why I tell myself, "Just take off your eye makeup."

It is super simple, I know this step is important, and I'm not overwhelmed by it!
If that's all I do, I won't feel bad.
Most of the time though, I go into Auto Pilot and end up washing my face!
Either way, it's a win-win.

So when you don't feel like washing your face, just start the first step.

Struggling with Skin Issues? How is your sleep been? It's not the obvious question, but the two are more related than you might think!
When you sleep, your skin wakes up and repairs itself!
It works hard to push the dirt and impurities to the surface, turn over skin cells, and re balance it's hydration.
When you don't get enough sleep, your skin doesn't have enough time to finish it's to-do list and you're left with unhappy skin.
While great skincare products are important, if you aren't getting enough sleep, your skin won't have time to use them completely.

How spot on is this from ?
While we often get focused on the things that can be seen with ADHD, there is so much hidden under the surface.
Some reminders as you wrestle with these things:
💗 Just because it is not seen doesn't mean it's not important.
💗 Just because it is normal for others, doesn't mean it's normal for you.
💗 Just because someone doesn't understand, doesn't mean it's invalid.
I see you.
I'm proud of you.
You're doing great.
